- Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of A Boy and his Blob from WayForward Technologies and Majesco for the Nintendo Wii. A revival of an NES game nearly 20 years its senior, A Boy and his Blob is a puzzle-platformer that owes as much to Portal as Super Mario. Playing as a small boy with a gelatinous companion, you move through levels that, like Portal, are basically large puzzles. Since the boy's abilities are understandably limited, solving those puzzles depends mostly on the blob. Armed only with a variety of transformative jellybeans, you have to feed the blob an appropriate jellybean to get through a given situation. This video review features video gameplay footage of A Boy and his Blob for the Nintendo Wii and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.

looking up A Boy and His Blob reviews in April 2016, and I stumble upon this video. now I'm sad. I miss you, CGR Undertow. :'(
A remake done right. Good stuff here. I've heard about this game a while back after seeing a review of the NES classic, I didn't know that it was released in between Muramasa and NSMBW. Ah well, it's definitely worth checking out.
A great remake of one of the most underrated titles for the NES.

I am no PS2 hater by any means, i was just proving a point, if you only try to look at the bad things of a console then you wont get much out of it, you will as a gamer instinctively ignore the bad games and will play the good ones, so it shouldnt be a problem no matter the sysem

@KriegKadaver every console has that this generation, even waggle games in their own motion controlled way, same can be said about the PS2 which has more shovelware and all of the games in he nintendo wii libray since it has like 10,000 games made for it and i guarantee you less then a couple hundred of those games are actually considered good, so in all do respect. I think ur just a hater
