@g00171227 Have you actually played this game? It's not easy, granted it's not as difficult as the Nes game. But by no means, is this game a walk in the park. What makes you say it's kiddie? The 2D visuals? Or the fact it's a Wii game?
@turbo409uk no. In the original game, the cannon only faced west because that was the direction of Blobolonia. Once the boy boarded the rocket, the entire trip was done automatically

I adored this game back in 2009. It was just so much fun and cute. The hug button is the greatest button ever. That said, I'd love for WayForward to make a sequel or whatever that goes back to the original's idea but obviously way more polished.
@kNIGHTWING01 naturally you did a great review Luke. I haven't played it yet but I was a huge fan of the first two games and this one doesn't have the same charm that the originals had. To me it looks too much like And Yet it Moves... But I'll still give it a try.
@thejobloshow calm down no need to get all thugish. Let's be civilized about this. The Nes game i couldnt finish, i broke a tv and a few controllers over it. The old game has lots in game issues. The remakes puzzles are very challenging, but not rage quality. Which is good, not good for my blood pressure.
The cannon simply faces whichever way the boy is facing during the moment the blob eats the cannon jelly bean. Boss three is much easier once you understand this.
