    Excellent review. Makes me consider it actually, even though I like the design of the flow significantly more. Which one would you suggest between the two as a better overall feel , sound and functionality ?

      Thanks Tsanko. I hope this comes across in the video but they sound/feel almost identical - and that is to say they're both better than 99% of other mechanical keyboards I've tried in the last few years. My personal preference is the Lofree Flow for the lighter colour, and it's plenty portable for me if I ever need to take it with me somewhere. In fact, I like it so much I'm probably going to get the 100 key version too so I have a numpad to play with. Just make sure you get those ghost/linear switches - they are SO nice!

      @@ThatMarkGilroy thank you for the advice Mark, will follow it and go for the linears. The price of the edge now with the kickstarter campaign is amazing and seems like a no-brainer. I cannot believe they managed to put the feel of the flow in an even thinner body. The looks is bold but honestly, it kinda starts to settle down on me.

    As someone who backed this Kickstarter and received the keyboard. Did you happen to notice any of these issues when you were testing it?
    1) the backlight is useless as it doesn’t shine through the keys
    2) the font design and weight are hard to read
    3) the keyboard goes to sleep in Bluetooth mode far too quickly requiring constant wake-ups
    4) the position of the screws where people rest their hands when typing will cause irritation

    • @ThatMarkGilroy
      @ThatMarkGilroy  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      1) Yes - I talk about this in the video. They’re pretty useless.
      2) Not too bad. I have a BenQ monitor light shining on them though.
      3) Not had this issue. It wakes faster than my Flow keyboard.
      4) Not found a problem with this.

    Awesome video! I'm glad to discover your channel, quality is top notch. I would love to see a more detailed comparison. On another matter, would you say that the chin disturbs typing for ones who rest their hands at the desk? Thanks!!

      I’m usually a ‘desk rester’ and it’s been fine for me. And thank you mate. 👍🏻 Check out the new keycaps on offer too- I might grab the blue set.

    I prefer low profile keyboards. I prefer the logitech mx keys over the apple magic keyboard. Looking to potentially pick up a lofree, but don't know if I should go with the linear white flow, or the new edge.

      I hope the video conveys this but for me the decision is all about aesthetics. Both are gorgeous to type on.

    Agree 100% on the part about the bigger "chin" with a bigger battery and a built-in wrist rest. Missed opportunity IMHO.

    doesn't look thinner than the logitech G815/915 series though

    • @ThatMarkGilroy
      @ThatMarkGilroy  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Maybe…but the G815 is not gasket mounted which makes a massive difference when it comes to the feel/sound.
      TBH I haven’t taken Logitech boards seriously since trying the mx mechanical last year. Hands down the most horrible typing experience I’ve ever had.

      @@saturdaysequalsyouth Ah! I see. Yes, now that these ultra slim mech boards are becoming more popular it would be great to have the option to type on them with a laptop. Nuphy’s Air75 series are built to fit precisely over a MacBook and it works surprisingly well.
