    Terrible case, great to see those friends and related to Janean still alive and supportive of her.
    The sentence of fifteen years is a total insult to the dear victim and especially with the verdict of "manslaughter" after what he did to this lady.
    RIP Janean.

      I'd be great if there were enough hours in the day and people on-the-clock to take every case to trial. There's not.
      Each defendant is entitled to a "speedy trial". It takes time to gather evidence and witnesses for trial.
      The prosecution can only try cases with a "reasonable belief of guilty findings". If a case for manslaughter is a slam dunk but murder is a struggle they will take manslaughter every day.
      The people working in the broken system are not the problem.

How that attorney and the judge could allow such an agreement and such a sentence to be perpetrated, is disgraceful.

    • @iamamaniaint
      @iamamaniaint 20 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Do you understand why they censor it? It's because of all the big money corporations are paying to advertise on their sight. So now TH-cam has to keep everything clean, so as not to offend to the degree that they boycott an advertiser or the advertiser pulls out and stops sending them big checks.
      People will try to make you think it's cultural but it's just corporate capitalism controlling entertainment to squeeze every dollar they can out of you. And they love that there is a scapegoat out there to distract people. They have helped create it. "It's not us! It's the oversensitive left! They control everything!" Give me a break. Left or Right ot anything in between, they're all trying to get as much money out of your pockets as they can.

    • @iamamaniaint
      @iamamaniaint 20 วันที่ผ่านมา +3

      Blame the corporate advertises that pay YT's bills. They are the reason these words are censored. They dont want to advertise on a video that contains language they believe may upset people and keep them from spending money on their product..
      It's a corporate controlled world.
      They don't care about offending people, they care about offending potential customers and sponsors. It's all about their money.
      "Money, like water, will find its way around."
      P.S. I left a similar message here in this comments section that seems to have been removed. Interesting.

    Wow, the drinking age in Ohio was 19 (for beer) until 1988. That's so weird to me. I love how many states differentiated between beer, wine, and liquor as if there is any difference to what is being served. You could buy a six pack of beer and get more drunk than if you had one glass of wine or one mixed drink. I guess the idea is that when drinking in a bar, a bartender could cut the person off after they had two or three beers and prevent them from getting really drunk.
    I just looked up what the drinking laws are in other countries, and throughout most of the world, it's 18. The reason it was raised to 21 in the US was because studies had shown that most drunk driving deaths were caused by teenagers. That made me realize something - in Europe, most teenagers wouldn't even drive, given the availability of excellent public transportation and the walkability layout of towns and cities there. So there was never a feeling that raising the drinking age was needed. That's interesting.

    2:09 so this is the first piece of wrong information. 1 this was the 80s, so no cell phones. 2 she was on a jog so the cops couldn't have gotten there in minutes. She would have had to ran to a phone, had the cops meet her, then she would have to show them were she found the body. So im skeptical about how accurate the rest of this video will be

    But imagine getting that jealous and mad over an innocent kiss from a barmaid, Infront of you so obviously not devious or an affair etc?
    I'd hate to have a head that, that was so easily triggered and it controlled me and I don't?

    One thing I truly despise about these stupid effing videos, is the addition of photos and video clips that are completely irrelevant to the story. For example, the lady who discovered the body did NOT use a GD Cell Phone to call the police because no such thing existed at that time. NO IMAGE was required to explain that she "called the police". Nobody watching this thought she used Smoke Signals or Flags to notify the police. Between this stupidity and Text-to-Speech Engines drive me nuts.
