I watched all the videos you sisters made, and for some reason I think this one is the most endearing, most touching. Maybe because you shared the mooncakes with everybody in the village, including people who couldn't contribute with flour or sugar because they might not have had any. Maybe because your auntie gave you all the buckwheat flour she had. Maybe it was the last scene of everybody gathering to watch a movie, while Axa and Penji serve them with one type of mooncake after another. And maybe it was all of that. I agree that we here in America have list the old ways of celebrating and sharing. I try to keep the old traditions going as much as possible. It has been just over a year now since my own silly dog, Chloe, passed away and left me alone. Shortly thereafter, I stumbled upon one of Apenjie's videos. I do not know if it was fate or simply the You Tube algorithm (I watch a lot of Chinese dramas), but I have been thankful for this discovery. Watching Apenjie's videos over the last year has been a source of much comfort to me. Her friends and family are always a delight; and Dawang has become a surrogate for my lost puppy. These videos allow me to experience things that have been sadly missing in my life for some time. I am old enough that all of my siblings and immediate family have passed away, so I sometimes live vicariously through others. Aside from Apenjie, Dawang, and her remarkable grandparents, I have also come to appreciate her lovely sister, Axia. Whenever she smiles, Axia reminds me of one of my favorite Japanese singers, the magical Marina Horiuchi.

I love watching your videos. Every time I feel like I'm going crazy thinking there's no humanity left in the world I lay down and watch one. No petty stresses, no crazy political crap born from crazy people on the internet, no worrying about who you're going to offend, nothing. 幸福滿滿又溫馨的過節氛圍，吃著手工月餅看著電影，雖說只是看著視頻，卻也讓人跟著視頻感受到過節的氣氛。
說真的滿讓我懷念小時候啊，印象中滿小的時侯，也有過像視頻中的情節，但長大後卻都只剩回味了，畢竟都幾十年前了，至於現在過節也都是各過各的居多了。

I agree that we here in America have list the old ways of celebrating and sharing. I try to keep the old traditions going as much as possible. It has been just over a year now since my own silly dog, Chloe, passed away and left me alone. Shortly thereafter, I stumbled upon one of Apenjie's videos. I do not know if it was fate or simply the You Tube algorithm (I watch a lot of Chinese dramas), but I have been thankful for this discovery. Watching Apenjie's videos over the last year has been a source of much comfort to me. Her friends and family are always a delight; and Dawang has become a surrogate for my lost puppy. These videos allow me to experience things that have been sadly missing in my life for some time. I am old enough that all of my siblings and immediate family have passed away, so I sometimes live vicariously through others. Aside from Apenjie, Dawang, and her remarkable grandparents, I have also come to appreciate her lovely sister, Axia. Whenever she smiles, Axia reminds me of one of my favorite Japanese singers, the magical Marina Horiuchi.

I love watching your videos. Every time I feel like I'm going crazy thinking there's no humanity left in the world I lay down and watch one. No petty stresses, no crazy political crap born from crazy people on the internet, no worrying about who you're going to offend, nothing. Just good natured, loving people just going through their day surviving, laughing, being a community. I'm honestly jealous of the family love you have as well. My family fell apart after my grandfather passed years ago so I envy all the love you're surrounded with. Thanks for all the wholesome videos 🙏
