- The past two days, we had two friends visiting. Just in time, we discovered a nest of bees in Uncle Ping’s vegetable garden, so we harvested some fresh honey for our friends who traveled a long way to see us. Although we only got a small piece of honey, it tasted incredibly sweet. My sister also prepared chicken with matsutake mushrooms, and the broth was fragrant and rich. In the evening, we all sat together, sharing mooncakes under the moonlight while singing and dancing to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival.
