One can't be too careful. Ziqi's gentle reminder：home brewing can be dangerous. Wrong containers or substandard oepration may produce excess gas, which leads to explosion. And your home brew can be infected and toxic too. Don't try it if you are not an expert.

The sprayer (airking ?) she uses to germinate the melonseeds in the clayballs is plastic, as is probably the fittings/tape in the waterpipes. But I'm nitpicking and you're absolutely right. We as a species have to realize nature doesn't only feed us, it also gets rid of our waste. When our waste stops to be biodegradable this cycle is corrupted and we end up creating long-lived landfills. Plastic has its uses (medicine, hygiene, ...) but it shouldn't have become a throw away commodity !

As a Taiwanese i would like to stand out and speak for her. The advertising company only does the filming, advertising and promotion, but the whole film series are edited and directed mainly by herself. Where some the the films took her years to make. Unfortunely the adevertising company set her up and took the name of Liziqi from her by leagal force. Its a long story and now she is a victum of the crime. The advertising company is trying to make wealth from stealing her name and selling products under Liziqi to public, while she is trying to defend her own reputation. She refused to put any commercial advertising into any of her films or any use of her name to make further fortune. Now her only income is from the viewing stream of the old films. This is why she stopped to produce news films. She is not doing the filming for money but for her believe in good will. She is admirable.

The thing that warms my heart the most is watching this industrious lady feed her grandmother. My grandmother is past and was one of the best cooks. I wish she would have lived long enough and well enough to sit at my table. What a blessing.

What an admirable, energetic rural girl
I adore her, I adore her home and her gardens, her lovely grandmother and her creative genius. I am chronically ill and have been for a very long time. I live in the country with many animals and gardens. When I watch her I wish I could do as much as she does but watching her helps me keep working towards wellness so that I can do more things that I love.

@@liueating4029 the government provides her with a camera crew and edits/uploads her videos to show how "awesome" rural life in China is, but in reality it is a hard and difficult life. I'm sure they pay her and take care of her family to be their cover girl, but I doubt she sees any of the youtube revenue.

Ekaterina Senina it is frustrating because I was raised in 80-90s and like all girls growing up in Asia to do man’s work twice better and low or no pay.. just because we didn’t get video taped doesn’t mean she’s the best.. my great grandma grams and mom did just as well and even better running 100 acres farms. I Love Liziqi videos, but people wake up! She didn’t invent agriculture gardening or farming & the lifestyle.

This is actually a new year celebration dinner, focusing on the use of grapes & watermelons for a feast like no others. I like Liziqi's celebratory calendar, which is basically year round. We should all honor nature's bounty, respect and protect her life-giving generosity.
