This was one of the best games for Playstation hands down. I always felt there was a lot of potential here for a remake. Bring back the same cars, add a lot more, make them customizable, larger open world maps, 1v1 vs friends, and improved graphics. Probably not a $60 game but would have some potential to be a great remake!

There were so many I loved for different reasons. However, towards the end, I pretty much only ever played Spectre. The maneuverability of that car, even with almost no armour, was unbelievable!
and to be honest, new players don't start getting used to beating that crazy clown by playing Twisted Metal: Small Brawl. 3 and 4 have cheats you need for survival like God Mode

Even this Game has't the 2D friendly looking good textures. The 3D phisics are the inovation here and the player can feel the weight of the car in the coltrols.
