These are just wonderful. I spent a good bit of time last night (while watching Acorn TV on Amazon. I'm now into Foyle's War -- when I was in school, taking world history, I was maybe 13 or 14, they made us memorize the names of the battles, etc. What I wished they had done was teach us the huge price the UK paid in its war against the Nazis. I had no idea you were at war for five long years, and then another decade passed to just get your footing back. The US had, and probably still has, no idea about war on our home turf. Yes, Pearl Harbor was bombed, but it was thousands of miles away. It wasn't until 9-11 that we experienced our first act of real terror or war where we could see it. I'm so incredibly ashamed of the US for importing the Nazi scientists and engineers -- Van Braun in particular, where I saw a video of him -- not secondhand story-telling -- where he was asked what type of guidance system was on the bombs, and the SOB laughed -- laughed !! -- and replied: we didn't have one, we just filled them up with enough fuel and bombs, then aimed them at England, and they worked really well -- as he laughed again. Innocent children, women, disabled persons and seniors were his targets, and not just of the British people, but of his own. They had to know the Allies would strike back, and they did. I worked in the legal industry (that is exactly what it is, no one is a lawyer because they want to "help" anybody) and I'm a nobody, but my clients were not. I had conversations with a lot of engineers who were testifying, but I was too young to understand what they were telling me, but this one guy hated them all; said they never left their allegiances to Germany. They laughed when we stupid Americans thought we were high society buying Mercedes because they were manufactured by those who supported the Nazi party. The head guy moved to Argentina and set up base there. They especially thought it was hilarious that the "stupid Jews" (not my words, or the man telling the story) when they, too, would buy the luxury Mercedes. He told me this in the early 1980's, but that Hitler did not commit suicide, but that he and Eva Braun (that name again) escaped to Argentina with the rest of the bunch, and where they were launching the 4th Reichert, which I thought at the time was ridiculous. I was still young. We now know what he said was probably true. The Apollo program was never about landing men on the moon. It was about launching spy satellites over not just Russia, but the rest of the world. Van Braun was a starch supporter that we had to build bigger rockets, etc., in order to propel the capsule into "outer" space, beyond the earth's magnetic fields. He was trying to stop the launching of the satellites. But back to WWII -- you should be so proud to be a part of such a strong country, along with her loyal citizens to freedom and the King. Especially the bombing. I think London alone lost 40,000 people (that might be wrong, but it's close) -- and most of those were harmless, children. Or children left as orphans being shipped out to what turned out to be utmost cruelty of slave labor on the farms; many receiving severe beatings if they didn't work hard and fast enough -- when the war was over, Britain fought another decade-long war to rebuild your country. The Americans pulled out, not just their people, but their financial resources, and Britain was bankrupt, but the wonderful British people worked even harder and in under ten years, turned everything around to the country you are today. My family is a direct link to Charles Brightwell in Brightwell, England. I do not understand how titles work. In writings I have seen, his father is called Lord Brightwell, and referred to as "landed gentry," and there was a large manor house. I have seen two dates of his arrival in Virginia, one in 1658 and one in 1659. Under the direction (and financing) of the Prince of Wales, Charles (who is my x# great grandfather) and the eldest son of the House of Orange, came to America to establish farming communities to grow mostly tobacco and send it back to the King. They did that. They developed almost all of Central Virginia, built a big house in "Prince Edward" county, where all the lines afterward have lived. But, Charles' grandson, literally started hanging out with Thomas Jefferson, Patrick Henry, and George Washington -- the little town of Farmville, Virginia, had an old hotel which was famous as "George Washington" slept here -- pre-presidency -- until it burned down sometime in the 1960's. Anyway, Charles the grandson became a traitor and fought for six years in the Revolutionary War, and the terms of the surrender was that you could only have a certain acreage, so most of the family's land was required to be sold under new American laws, and not the previous British law of land ownership. Meanwhile back in England, the family became bankrupt and fell out of favor with the King over young Charles's traitorous actions, the Manor burned down, the family exiled. The American Charles came back home after war totally broke. I have read his letter to the accounting office of the new American government stating he was never paid for his five long years of service as was promised when he "signed up," as it were. But our ties to England were forever broken, as were my invitation to those fabulous royal weddings -- Our US Ancestry is a direct line back to the Charles who arrived in 1658, but I don't know the family's history in England prior to that -- although -- I think there may have been some daliances going on, and maybe why the Prince of Wales sponsored the trip out of the country, because my father looks very similar to pictures I've seen. His name was John Edward, and he bears a striking resemblance to the current Prince Edward -- all of that aside, that is the story they should tell children in school to help them understand the devastation beginning with WWI (the war to end all wars), and just as England was on the brink of recovery, the world is at it again. I've read somewhere 70 million people died in the war, including the approximate 6 million in Hitler's death camps, which Van Braun helped design the gas chambers. The US claims it brought the scientists here to the US to ensure they weren't recruited to the Russians, which is ridiculous. They should have been handed over to the authorities and tried at the Nuremberg trials, then hung. I've also read stories about the German POW's -- some were sent to the US to work on farms -- and one particular story still haunts me. This man said through tears, he was a farmer, not a Nazi, and was forcefully taken from his home and family to be in the army, for a cause he did not support. It is now 2021, and wars are still being fought, but now with horrible weapons. I pray for peace for our beautiful world and her people and animals every single day. In closing, sending my love to your fellow countrymen and women in the death of Prince Philip. Married 73 years. Continued to be an active working member of the royal family while in his 90's. Please don't blame America for "MM" -- we don't much like her, either, and quite frankly, Harry is a bit too whiny; he's still bitching about his grandfather making him walk behind his mother's casket -- "I was only 12" -- as an adult, he should have been grateful that Prince Philip understood the significance and respect them walking with her on their last walk together meant, to Diana, and to the British people, and people around the world who also loved her. I don't know if this is true or not, but I heard in one interview of her butler, that Diana and Prince Philip formed a special friendship, for he alone understood exactly what being married to the future monarch. And just my opinion, which counts for zero, William in an interview regarding that said that Prince Philip told him, if you don't do this, you'll regret it all your life. Take care, dear girl -- love and hugs, Patricia

Love the "black-brown" stamped hearts, with the crinkle texture....add the "blue or purple" or even pink or red or green "bows and lace flowers" with "pearls or rinstones" tea stained lace and plain and or printed material, in satin or suede or velvet, ect....All would look Glamorous and Vintage and quite Fabulous!

Hi sweetheart 🙋 First things first, I want to tell you what a blast I had at the suare this past Tuesday - just so happened it was my birthday... I'm at level 63 now 😟🤪😵😞, kicking and screaming the entire way... but I digress. So many happy, chatty girls lovin on you... VERY cool and we'll deserved.
These are very pretty... I don't tend to do hearts either but now you've got me wondering why. ...and the black lace? Again, me too! And every time I use any I think of you. Been wanting to tell you for a few months now 🤦 that I bought your... opera pack? The cream and black one, to make a journal like the one you did. I saw it pass in front of the screen on another vid some time back and loved it madly. I have the cover fabric and everything. Do you have that journal in it's own vid? SSOOOO gorgeous!
These heart clusters really are precious. You're just half way through this vid so I'm going go get some papers and cut hearts while you finish up... a fun thing to do when my chores are done!
XOX from a (finally) spring-like Southern California desert, MK ♥️🌞🌵🌷🌷🌷😁

I don't use hearts very often either. I did come across a tutorial on making a 3D heart for journals though which I like. Now with your heart clusters I just might start using them everywhere! Beautiful. Sad to hear of the passing of Prince Philip. He stood beside Queen Elizabeth for so many years. I am certain she will miss him on many levels. Here in Canada our flags are at half mast. Praying for your country throughout Covid and especially now. Hugs and blessings, :)

I will make Anne Brooks 52 week challenge but without the stitching, making tags on her prompts with paper. Today I'm making the tags with the French philosophy book along with Shakespeare and Joyce. Very nice. Your stamp at 49 and Market is definitely discontinued but they have nice stuff. I am looking now at the European suppliers of such stamps. Thx for everything. Jackie

I'm not normally a heart person myself but the instant you stamped them I became one. Gabrielle Pollaco is someone I used to watch for mixed media. She has designed some really nice stamps and stencils for crafters workshop. These turned out really sweet. Vicki

Hi Tina, these are so cute! I’ll definitely be making some of these today. I love hearts. I use them in my journals all the time, but never thought to use large ones in a cluster. Hugs 🤗

I have one of those boxes full of the papers so I really appreciate you showing us how to use these die cuts they were fun at first but now they just kind of sit in a box. Thank you Tina you're a great inspiration. 🥰🐞🤗💕

Love the way you turn this stuff into new supplies, still: you have a load of this hearts now, I’m wondering how are you going to use them? 1 or 2 I can see but this load.....?

They are really lovely Tina. That little flower would have gone great and a paper clip on the back of the heart if you wanted to use it as a snip it.
