Extraordinary! Reminds of your series " using up things we wish we wouldn't have bought". I loved that series! Tina, please be assured that I am lousy at leaving comments but I never miss any of your videos. In fact I look forward to them every day. It is truly ok and understandable that you can not respond to every comment, email, ect. I just absolutely understand and just appreciate the time it takes to make a video, run your shop, manage your household and being a mom. You are an amazing, bright and beautiful woman. Thank you! Hugs
Love this idea. Now I know why I rarely throw anything away. I believe that almost everything old can be reused and recycled into something new and better! I have lots of old jewelry ❤
Really gorgeous! You've done it again, love these unusual gems and who doesn't have old jewelry that's been waiting for something such as this? My grandma had those old shoe pins, really pretty, maybe that's what you saw that reminded you somewhat of this. These would be lovely on a hat as well.:)
Love these, being a jewelry maker, I have collected alot of old jewelry to incorporate into my work. This is a wonderful idea to use in my journaling. Thank thank wonderful inspiration!!!! Hugs!
When I saw this pop up on the screen, I knew I had to watch it immediately. My sister is sending me some very old jewelry that belong to her mother-in-law and I can't wait to get it. You've given me some inspiration. I like what you did with the patina colors.
Great timing for me! My husband had just helped me this week get all my jewelry organized and ready to use in my journals and I was wondering what to do with some of the things that I own and this is such a great idea!
Loved the velvet, looks really rich and chic! Great idea to make these! I have tons of broken jewellery, old jewellery I take it apart and reuse al the pieces, jump rings etc I make earrings etc but there is also plenty to use for crafting!!
These are so much fun! Every year (except last year and this year due to COVID) our church has a rummage sale and I’m lucky enough to be in charge of the jewelry department! I have saved all kinds of fun odds and ends! This video is very inspiring! You may want to consider one of those little silicone makeup brush things (you can get them on Amazon for very cheap) and you can use it to press down your pieces without burning yourself! Also, if you have alcohol ink....it works perfectly to color any pieces you have (esp the flatback pearls), anything nonporous like those jewelry pieces. TYFS ❤️🦋💜
I have yet to master the cluster or snippet roll! You make it look so easy!! These are stunning, Tina!! And the use of leftover jewelry is genius! I'll keep practicing my clusters and snippet rolls!
So cute! Got my creativity all stirred up now! 😂 I have tons of junk jewelry and just inherited some from my mom that I wanted to repurpose in a creative way. I think I have some ideas now! Thanks so much! I hope you’re doing well! I’ve been where you are, so...you’re definitely in my prayers! God has a wonderful way of taking bad situations and turning them around!
I SO love these! There's a thrift store/consignment store/rent-a-booth shop the next town over where I get a sizeable plastic container packed full with broken jewelry or maybe pieces that didn't sell at someone's yard sale or whatever for just five bucks! I pick them up for the assemblage art I do but still have some pieces left over that would be perfect for this. I think these are very much a "me" thing! And yes, E6000 is a wonderful little investment. Love you bunches, XOX, MK ♥️🌞🌵
Now we will look at broken pieces of jewelery differently. I already save everything and see what everyone does with odds and ends. Love everything that you make ❤❤❤
Thank you so much Barbara, gosh I watched your pink paper bag journal this morning, oh my goodness, I loved it sooooooo, much, hard to choose between that and the green one now! Hope you have a great weekend x
Tina, these are beautiful! I have some scrap jewelry that I use for steampunk...what a fantastic other use for these scraps as well!! Thanks for the idea and thanks for sharing!! Hugs to you and the children!
I have loads of jewellery from charity shops thank you so much Tina for the idea of what to do with some of it, these are sooo pretty, tfs sweetheart huge hugs x Julie
Hi Tina!🌷🌈🦋 Hope you’re having a good week! I am still playing catch up from last week , trying to get all of your videos watched and enjoying each one! I love these dainty beauties! It s funny, I bought a pretty pin last week at the thrift store because I thought it would look lovely on the cover of a Victorian journal! But I absolutely love these jeweled and lovely mini embellishments! You really highlighted these and I love them.!! I love tasteful bling, but I haven’t hardly worn jewelry this past year with the pandemic...so thank you for encouraging the sparkle back to life!!! Have a wonderful weekend, Tina.💖🌷🌸Lori
Thank you so much Lori, yes I am running wayyyyy behind too! Lol. Hope you’ve had a great week too. Awesome timing as you just bought that pretty pin last week. I have lots of old jewellery that I could probably use, I might have to do some more things. I know what you mean about not really getting to wear anything nice since the pandemic, I have a bit of a thing for handbags, and haven’t changed mine once since the pandemic! Xx
@@shabbydabbydoodah I hear what you are saying! When I worked retail, I wore beautiful pins, earrings, scarves, and lots of florals, plaids, stripes on my blouses. I worked for 20 years for a major grocery chain, and could only wear navy and black slacks and navy or black aprons, so I always wanted to wear bling or color because it made me feel dressed up and special.lol😂🤣😂 I haven’t even worn earrings but for a couple of times! Anyway, I absolutely loved this video as all of your videos, but the bling, oh my!!🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷
I just realized as you were talking about grandma’s costume jewelry I have some of my mother’s and her mother’s too! I was actually looking at them in a box yesterday and wondering what to do with them. Can we ever have too much inspiration? 😂 no
Hi Tina, I hope you are doing ok? LOVE this!! Off to the charity shop today to buy some costume jewellery. Take care of yourself and thank you for this lovely video. :)
Love this idea, I have quite a lot of broken/hideous jewellery in my stash. I use my fingers to apply metallic alcohol ink lol I think 'if my skin react then I'll stop' 😄. That flower one looks like topaz now 😍. Just noticed your finger lol hopefully it's because you recorded this ages ago! I like that you try new things on video, then we can see the results for ourselves.💖
These are lovely! I'm curious how long the distress ink will stick to the pearl. I've seen folks use alcohol inks to color metal and pearls, but I'm a little leery of using water-based inks on non-porous surfaces. Still, you don't know til you've tried, right? I think I'll pull out some old jewelry and give this a try!
What kind of clasp is on the back of the piece with the large diamond like stones? You may want to have it appraised. I know they are not diamonds, but some of those old pieces have some value now!!!!!!
I have started using my glue gun more often also. Yes, I am inspired to get busy using some old pieces of jewelry to make snippets. Enjoyed the video so much.
E6000 glue stinks something awful & there is a cancer warning on it. I have used it but but my mister complains terribly about the odor so I tahe it outside & wear a mask. Very hard to get off the fingers too. I haven't used it for a long time. Those are absolutely gorgeous!!
I love using old jewelry in my projects. Everything you made just turned out lovely, but I think I may have to stop watching you because you are costing me money! 😆 I just bought some of the patinas. Last time I bought a stamp you used. I love the use of the patinas. A lot easier than the way I was doing it. I use gel medium when gluing anything metal. Great hold and dries clear. Only drawback is you have to wait for it to dry.
Hello my friend tina these are going to.look.beautiful. I'm at the start ten.minutes.in I'm going to send you an email.but not today.i have some good news N it should help you to.love ya alanna
I love these. They are so pretty. I have made clusters, but I haven't thought to use jewelry on them. Thanks for sharing.

Just loved the dangling lace tails
There’s no end to your talents, a few bits of old jewellery and you turned them into such beautiful little clusters. How clever you are. Xx
A great idea. Especially since we probably won't ever wear any of these anymore. They came out very pretty. Thanks for thinking of this.
I have to admit that pink button ended up looking fabulous. Love them all Tina.
Love this idea. Now I know why I rarely throw anything away. I believe that almost everything old can be reused and recycled into something new and better! I have lots of old jewelry ❤

Wow! Those are so gorgeous! I need to go dig out my buckets of old jewelry bits and see what I can do with them! Fabulous job! 🌸😊🌸
Love them Tina! I used old jewelry and earrings to make charms for my journals too!
Love these, being a jewelry maker, I have collected alot of old jewelry to incorporate into my work. This is a wonderful idea to use in my journaling. Thank thank wonderful inspiration!!!! Hugs!

Pretty little embellies and such a great way to salvage old costume jewelery! TFS the inspiration, Tina!
Fun to watch you and yes it gets me inspired! You have a great eye for creative art! Always like to see what you are up to 👏thanks ☀️🌻
I love how your little rose looks with the touches of gold instead of painting the whole thing - tfs
What a great idea! All of the pieces are gorgeous. They would be great on covers too.
Those pieces turned out amazing. They would add so much to journal covers.
I like black and blue together. I don’t care for that hot pink button. Love the patina on the diamond flower pin.
Love the transformation. The last one turned out super nice, much to my surprise!🌸
Loved the velvet, looks really rich and chic! Great idea to make these! I have tons of broken jewellery, old jewellery I take it apart and reuse al the pieces, jump rings etc I make earrings etc but there is also plenty to use for crafting!!

Hi Tina,
Absolutely gorgeous embellishments!
They are going to look soooooooo stunning in your journals!
Take Care, Hugs! X
I have yet to master the cluster or snippet roll! You make it look so easy!!
These are stunning, Tina!! And the use of leftover jewelry is genius!
I'll keep practicing my clusters and snippet rolls!
I have used E6000 for many projects and found that with time it turns fabrics yellow. That makes the glue gun much preferable.
These are aweso e and a great way to use up bits and pieces of old jewelry. Thank you for the inspiration.

Very cute!!
Love this. 💕
Hi Tina, I hope you are doing ok? LOVE this!! Off to the charity shop today to buy some costume jewellery. Take care of yourself and thank you for this lovely video. :)
Lovely pieces. You could use 3 in 1 glue to stick your metal. E6000 smells too much. Or the Gorilla Glue range have have good one for metal
Thank you, I really appreciate your tips on great glues for metal x
Lovely
Brilliant Tina, I've brought some patina 😁
