Arma Reforger Game Master Quick Start Guide

- Arma Reforger released out of nowhere and currently lacks some of the sandbox options of Arma 3 to get in and play around against AI in a coop or singleplayer environment.

It's funny cuz he was trying to figure out how to command ai to drive the humvee but if you look back at the video you'll see no one is in the driver's seat
I think you have to drive the humvee and the other vehicles will follow
i died laughing when paul lost his mind and started the cutting the grass with his rifle.
Really great and helpful video! Thanks! I have a persistent bug in Game Master where i can't place any AI entities at all without the game freezing and locking up, needs a restart but happens every single time?? I can place my Avatar 100% of time though? Weird!!
That sounds like you need to verify cache or reinstall.
On console at least, nothing that you do saves. So it's almost pointless despite being a really cool mode. will be fun once it's hopefully fixed.

@@reeper_761 I wish you could make multiple saves of different scenarios. It’s hard to build things with lots of detail because of that at the moment. It’s just a giant waste of time

can you take command of a group like in arma and issue orders on the ground? i can't find the option anywhere .

Vehicle driver seat reads free vehicle won’t move unless you have a driver that’s where I’m at how do you place drivers
Is there away to make the troops patrol in a continuous loop ?
Not that I know of yet
You need the workshop version PC on console it's pretty basic ATM but the team is making great strides every update a year on it's less buggy and smother

There is a editor it’s the tools thing you can edit and make missions etc

@@1111Tactical yeah reforger tools it’s like the editor but just a bit more complex with a lot more potential, we’re only scratching the surface atm with it, there a couple of good mission making vids on YT to get your starting in a basic mission if you’d like to 😃

It looks like when they're in the vehicle, they didn't get into the driver seat by default.

Honestly I don’t think you can, because your custom game doesn’t have a server to run on. So when you’re playing this unless you’re playing on a game master server you’re playing solo. However if you want to play with your friends you’ll have to actually rent a server for like 60$ a month you’ll have your own server. Otherwise I don’t think it’s possible….

As of writing, my game crashes after about 30-40min. So no use in playing right now for me.

Units are not defaulting to being drivers in the vehicles, and I can't seem to get them to drive despite controlling one to get in the driver seat.
At that point, I just do it the old fashioned way and drive them myself.
Also, camera can be snapped to groups in entity overview with the context menu.

They said because its game preview the AI will not drive so you can't force them in the driver seat.

@@onlydr4gon849 i mean yeah, You can load them in but you would have to drive them.
So Spawn them first,
Then edited them and move them into the trucks.
