That little guy is awesome :) If I ever got that, I would immediately give him like, 50 coats of gloss clear so his lining stays on 🤣 I'm not even an n scale modeler, or a huge Thomas fan, but I still love this model. Have a nice week :)

Great video my dude! Quick question: Do you ever experience a dead spot in the track on any point on your layout? It's been happening to me recently and I'm trying to figure it out.

The track may be dirty, the connection may be bad as well. You can either clean it with rubbing alcohol or add another electrical connection to help the continuity.

Is it one certain engine that doesn't work? It could be faulty or dirty pickups. If its all engines that hit the dead spot, then you probably either have a bad connection (check rail joiners) or the track has some junk built up on it (simple cleaning should fix it).

It kinda makes sense that the Bachmann models are smaller than the Tomix ones, since Japanese N scale (1:150) is slightly bigger than American N scale (1:160)

The train museum by me has recently added a model railroad section from H.O to Z scale and I must say- the Z scale is so small putting my finger up to the model in the glass casing its smaller than my finger-

Agree on the paint situation - accidentally wrecked my Annie when I was cleaning track with iso and some was on my fingers when I touched her... Bye paint 🥲
I still find him too small compared to Annie and Clarabel (or maybe they're sightly too big?)

I actually think the reason why the smaller Thomas model has the bigger size rods and because maybe they tried to make him look like the pilot model I'm talking about the the first Thomas model from the classic series

Bachmann’s Thomas range is so good but I really think they need to do an overhaul of their range and get rid of the ugly faces, The n scale range is on the right path
