Water Tower Steam Set was the only Tomy set I ever got from my parents, this brings back many memories. When I was a kid I didn't like how it ran with Annie so I took a screwdriver and removed it and cut the wires. I regret this descision this very day. It was a childhood dream of mine to see one move independently and for that I thank you sir.
looks great! maybe, you could somehow wire up a seuthe smoke generator to the battery and drill a hole in the funnel so the smoke could come out... just a thought

That's a clever custom. I like this custom. I had an idea of doing that with my talking Salty. Really good my G. I had another idea for this custom here. Fix the smoke and replace the Motor with the switch motor and connect the 2 like trackmaster revolution. No criticism, just a thought but good nonetheless.
It really isn’t as hard as I thought it’d be; worst I had to do was hollow out the interior and mess with the new chassis a tad! :) Give it a shot my bro you’d nail it I’m sure

To add on maybe take a backlamp from the bachmann thomas with no back lining also why is the bunker black tho lastly maybe take some plarail faces like happy, shocked, pissed maybe to like give it the gauge 1 feel.
Thomas and Percy are done. Thomas looks great, but why not complete the Hit era trio. Why not try a Metallic James next? Or better yet a Make someone Happy James when Harold blew dust all over him? Great tomy mod, looking forward to whatever's next
I wonder if train boy is gonna modify the Annie and Clarabel that came with it , I always thought were the best looking ones of tomy so maybe this thomas can have them and in some ways the model would be to it’s former glory. Anyway a loved the idea and loved the model❤.
I've never attempted to make a DIY custom but I wanted to customise a Wooden Railway Mavis to make a definitive version. I'll let you know how it goes.
Ok I actually have this Thomas myself but it too basically died and I had the LITERAL audacity to gut Anne to convert her from the extra battery she was to Thomas to an actual Coach. I don't know if that was the right move or not,but to be fair the wires were long sinced damaged
