Good job. Only thing i would have done differently would have been clean the debri around the intake mounting flange so it doesnt fall into the engine. Just saves you extra work
I brought my 2017 passat to the dealer and they told me I need to replace the injector harness. The problem I'm having is I can't find the proper one to fit this year model. Do you know if they changed the injection harness for this particular year.
You didn't reinstall the seals that go on the body of the injector. These are the plastic rings with the three hooks that go against the body of the injector and make a final seal against the cyl head. What is the reason for this? Seen at 9:28 in the video. Thanks...
Help!!!!! It turns over but it won't start... damn. It started for a second and then it stalled and now it won't start back up. Is there a trick to getting fuel to the injectors? I double checked all the connections it looks like there's a little hose that connects to the bottom of the manifold that I forgot but, would that cause it not to start? I'm pretty sure I can get a needle nose and get that little hose back on without taking the manifold back off.
Mine has a p0202 says number 2 is a curricuit corruption. When the motor warms up it starts sputtering. Wondering if I need to replace the injectors or what
I have p0303 code. My plugs and coils are good. I used a boroscope to look at the valves and fuel injector from inside the cylinder. The fuel injector looks all carbonized inside the cylinder.

I'm glad you pointed that out. Make sure you put those seals on the injectors. They have gaskets attached to them.
If I just want to change out the wiring harness for the injectors, would I repeat this same process? Still need to take intake manifold off?
Yeah, unfortunately. That's the only way to gain access.

It's a good possibility a breather hose can cause it to stall or not start at all.

Test the fuel pressure in each cylinder and test the injectors before replacing them.
When you change the fuel injectors, did you get the EPC code pop up on you?

You would have to call your local repair shop. Price vary state to state.

How much mileage on this car, did you change the ignition coils yet.
140k miles. Ignition coils and spark plugs replaced.
