- How to mix the basic colors to get realistic skin tones for your 3d miniatures and prints. As most stuff you can buy is anything but realistic or takes a lot of work and washes etc to get it to look normal!
Paints used to get the skin tones:
1. Vallejo Premium Airbrush Color - Cobalt Blue
2. Vallejo Premium Airbrush Color - Bright Red
3. Vallejo Premium Airbrush Color - Basic Yellow
4. Vallejo Premium Airbrush Color - White
(remember to shake them well before using!)
I read a post on Facebook where a gentleman mentioned your name and was saying how much he learned from your videos. I wish I would have saved his name so I could thank him. He was absolutely correct in saying that out of the hundreds of videos on TH-cam talking about skin tones yours is the best. I’m so thankful to you for explaining this in a way I finally understand and can actually use to help me improve my painting skills. I will now be binge watching all of your wonderful videos. Please keep up the amazing work you do.
Thank you ao much for your kind words. I think the guy was Kelly Bents, he recently made a post in the Groundeffected facebook group. Or there is also a post in the same facebook group where people posted their social media links and some other people commented there also.
@@luciamorandini it definitely was Kelly Bents. I went back and looked again. I’ll have to message him directly to thank him for leading me to your channel.

Maybe you can do in the Future a Tutorial of painting a Freddy Figure or bust?
He has a very special face color
Thank you! And yes, great suggestion, I'll consider doing a Freddy in the future!
Wow this was really good, any chance we can see this in action on your next painting session on an actual model?
I actually just filmed yesterday the version using army painter paints for the mix. And showing them and and they work on the Dracula I am working on right now
Hi Lucia, will you be releasing method 2 soon for those of us with the army painter set?
Yes, in the couple of days
