My is showing that te error but when you lift the front door up and restart the error will not come out but when you bring it down it will appear again

I have a LG front load washer giving the tE code, but it doesn't have a heating element that I can find, it has a thermister and I replaced it with a new one. Still the same issue, a guy at sears parts told me it's the mother board, what do you think? The model is WM2250CW. HELP????
