An easier way to do this is just slide the machine forward and then lean it back so you can climb under. There is a monster hole in the bottom of the washer and you can totally do the job through it no problem. Takes half the time and you don't have to take apart anything to access through the front. My information is for a homeowner use only. If you are a service tech, follow the video instruction so you can charge more for all of the extra labor time. Good luck
Heh !! I really like your Thorough video and Very Good Diction while speaking. Pretty much everything is the same on mine. Unfortunately I ran into a problem on my LG Washer WM2650HWA. LG says the correct Heating Element is P/N AEG33121501 but it does not line up properly in order to make a good seal. The Heating Element I removed from mine has a P/N 3121528 E78651 which does not show up on the LG part list??? I have tried to to talk to several representatives at LG about my issue however they seem to not understand or know what to do about it. Can you help?
Well it does appear the Correct Heating Element for my LG Washer WM2650HWA is now AEG33121501. However I had trouble with the NEW ELEMENT leaking at the seal until I went back and removed the Counter Weight which was both physically and visually in the way from allowing good vision while applying good even pressure all across the face of the Heating Element as you tighten the nut on the bolt which expands the Seal to stop any water leakage at the Heating Element.
Yes. All new washers, dryers, refrigerators, ranges are shit. Nothing lasts for 6 months past their warranty. Everything is junk now. With all the computer boards anything and everything can and will go wrong.
Apparently our LG washer is a just a tiny bit different but your instructions were basically spot on. Thank you SO much for your Help. God Bless!
Hi, thanks for your video and it was very helpful. Could you please tell what should be the thermistor Ohms reading if it is not faulty?
What does theerror (EP) refer to ?
@@abomortaja3749EP or PE?
Great video! How do I know if it's the heater Or the Thermistor beside it? or both. Thanks!

Based on Repair Clinic (you can google it) AEG33121528 is the alternative part number(s) of AEG33121501. I would assume that 3121528 is AEG33121528.

What if you replace the Thermistor but it still shows the TE code?....
I wonder what you do after you replace the entire heating element with the new thermistor attached and you still get the te error?
Buonasera, dopo aver sostituito temistore e resistenza compare ancora la scritta TE. Come posso fare.
what the item yours change....
I can't pull the heater, it gets stuck halfway through
I bought this unit from Costco in mid 2019 and there is a TE Error now. Is it normal?
