Me too I live in Houston. My eBay singles are lost or late arriving. My Walmart blasters (bowman24) were delayed, internet down but my power never blinked. I’m been eyeing Horowitz lately for singles. Good auto 👍🏽💯🔥
The All Etch insert is from 1999 Topps Chrome.
Cards look great, refractors look great, numbering location is awful, price is a non-starter. Looking forward to singles come this offseason!

@@elireyna9464 Couldn't agree more. Bloated checklist, bloated auto checklist, expanded parallels checklist, higher price point, all makes no sense to open as a personal. Singles for this release are 100% the way to go and they are going to be incredibly cheap as folks scramble to get back 10-20% of their buy in on average per box.

Chrome looks clean design wise this year! Inserts give me a 90s vibe. Wish the numbering would be in a different spot I liked when the numbering was on back.

Cards look great with the chrome, the aquas are beautiful.
The 1989 inserts look lovely but I’m biased- I think that’s my #1 retro card design!!
Not totally sold on the other inserts. Would personally really like the blueprint design in chrome as an insert.

Thanks for the content Stryker, I love the look of Chrome this year but the price is STEEP for how big the checklist is. Looking forward to watching some breaks at least.
They definitely designed this year's with chrome in mind. Base cards look great...but I'm not buying these soon. Too expensive

all etch were back in the late 90's
I bought a Topps Chrome Update Hobby box with my 2023 buy backs last year. It was great.
All etch feels like a 90s vibe and I dig it

A ton of rookies which is great, but makes it seem harder to hit veterans, so the buyback will be harder than before I would say
The numbering is very odd, not a fan. The cards look good but the big hits are going to be really hard to get.

This is one of the best designs in years it looks super good in chrome.
Way too many new inserts that won't hold any value. Takes away from actually getting cards worth anything. Expanded checklist, increased inserts, increased price...yikes
Or you could get cards to enjoy collecting and not worry about flipping and turning a profit. It is takes like yours that are ruining the hobby

Base cards look great, Inserts and parallels look really good! I like it!
Overall, as a collector, I'd be happy with that box. BUT, when my wife was to ask, "Did we get $200 in cards out of that box?", I'd say....... "Yyyyyyeeeeeeeesssssssss??"

I got a green refractor autograph rookie card for Connor Kaiser (69/99). Had to look this guy up, but hope he gets good
Jackson Holliday's RC looks far too similar to Gunnar Henderson's RC from a year prior. Show some originality Fanatics, you could have at least had Holliday swinging the bat.
Very nice looking cards.
2024 design looks good chromed up. QC seems pretty solid. The inserts especially the summertime in the park are cheesy. Definitely more directed toward kids which is fine. Historically the Topps Chrome inserts are like that.
Combed through a few other 2024 Chrome opening videos...snooze-fest. Stryker is eassssssssily the most entertaining and engaging sports card content going today.
I’m also an Os fan huge W but I got decent stuff out of topps chrome sorta but haven’t got a hobby box yet or a mega box just got the blaster boxes so far only got pink parallels and the all tech parallels and also a Mike trout summertime at the park and a numbered card Jung hoe lee

Over all Topps Chrome looks good...
base cards are clean, agree with the bad numbering placement. inserts look pretty bland to be honest. I'd buy that horwitz card

Awful placement on the numbering. Not gonna lie, I like last year's design (and price point) quite a bit more. But appreciate your early look at the product!

Another great Striker Breaks video. Those new inserts look way to childish to me and should be put in Topps products like Stickers and Opening day. They needed to come up with something more conducive to Topps Chrome, I'm not a fan. Keep up the OUTSTANDING work and you and your family have a good, safe and blessed rest of yer day.

I like them but I agree with you the numbers. Instead go gold they should have used silver foil for the numbered cards

Elly going to be a hard pull like series 1 . Ive opened about 10 blasters and pulled only one Elly base.
That's good. How cards should be. Not every rookie should be a gimme.
With Topps retail though it is all about the coalition. If a case blasters has Elly's you might get 1/3 boxes with him in it. If they don't you may get 2-3 in a case.
