Crazy how we all hear so differently. These have a nice bass for me but don't feel any basshead lean. Actually sound exactly like the graph. I hear these pretty much like ToneDefMonks description. Doesn't sound at all like my stock Rosefinch with its thick bass and very warm/dark sound. My modded version may be closer, but not really. I hear the White Snow as pretty bright, I've been considering adding an extra filter. The Soundstage is also quite nice. Mine came with extra filters which is a nice touch. Decent cable for the price point. Glad you got this one in and the Kb02 that I've been considering. I think WS is a great set. I'll have to A/B to Saga Bass since they graph similarly. Going by memory these sound brighter, not as bassy, though I also don't feel like the Saga is that bassy either, lol, and bigger soundstage here. Guess I'm still a big fat basshead cz I seem to hear bass lighter than most do.
I really appreciate your comments. I too have the KZ Saga bass edition and don't find the bass too much on those either. In fact, when I listen to them and the much vaunted KZ EDC PROs , I find they have more bass than the Sagas to the point where it's almost too much for me. Yet pretty well every You Tuber calls them a balanced sound ( for KZ at least ). I think you are right. Every ear hears quite differently 🙂
@philipm.4738 glad to help 😊 out. I. Have both Sagas and forgot to mark them, I had to go to back and forth for a bit to identify the bass edition and I'm still not 100% 😂 when I hear the Rosefinch there is no doubt, it's a basshead set! Haven't a/Bd to EDC Pro yet but doubt Saga bass is that much different in the bass. I tend to like HBB preference curve and consider that an average amount of bass, not bass heavy.
@@MariaAudioChick With Christmas money I bought the KZ PRX planar IEMs and got a balanced cable and inexpensive DAC with a balanced input and with that budget setup I love the bass on those. It has a smooth , warm but tight style to it that I really like. The rest of the frequencies are beautiful too. Based on that, I would assume my ears like a planar sound but the Saga definitely has more raw thump to it! I've been curious about the difference between the bass and non bass version. Interesting that there's not a lot to your ears. I appreciate that you commented back🙂 Thanks for that!
@philipm.4738 very nice!! I got the PRX but haven't had much time on it. Sounds a lot like a DD. The bass has gotten close but you're right right. DD bass is just more lush. Bass you can feel VS bass you can hear. I kinda want it to stay that way, I like different driver types having different strengths and weaknesses. Keeps it interesting!
@@MariaAudioChick 💯 Keeps me in this hobby and I can even do that with the more budget options. With various eartips and budget dongle DACs the fun never stops😃
between this and EDC Pro which one have less bass, i want to upgrade from EDC Pro, because i think EDC Pro still got too much bass, and sibilant in the upper mids-low treble.
Aside from the tuning, how does it fair against Kiwi ears Cadenza or the new KZ DD? Specifically in resolution and technicalities? Im not too worried about wide staging either, rather proper stage positioning
I have the TKZK TK02 that people were saying was the clone to this set and I don’t like it… the mids aren’t clean enough for me. I wonder how similar these two actually are. Basically I prefer the newer KZ single DD sets over the TK02 … even the QKZ ZXN is more dynamic and clearer. A miracle IEM from QKZ honestly.
I think you got a bad TKO2. That being said they sound similar but definitely not clones. I actually bought both since they appeared to be clones, same shells. Tk02 is more balanced, slightly warmer and more relaxed the way I hear it. I really like it but the soundstage is more intimate. I find WS soundstage to sound quite ethereal, detailed and layered, which doesn't seem Paul is hearing. So YMMV 😉

That reminds of the Hola, the graph is a bit more V-shaped, but similar price point.
@@JohnClarkW way brighter than Hola.
Bring back the Hola. Its what the people want.

Less bass than EDC Pro is closer to KZ Libra X, 7hz Zero, or EPZ Q1 Pro
👍

Eh, this is an average DD tuned in a V shape. That is not a resolving move but more like a move to hide lack of resolution or techs.
how does this compared to the EW200? they have similar graph
I'd take EW200

The QKZ ZXN Has great!!! Soundstage and it’s only $15

@ yea… that warmer, relaxed sound isn’t my jam. Maybe I should give white snow a try??
@@JosephFlemming let me know if you do!
After all these years... Came to open my eyes and ears that people hears differently. While these reviews are nice but I can't blind buy anymore... 🫡
True. Even if everyone hears differently, I usually watch and read a few.
