I'm just glad it's not yet another SUV. Choice is good... even for the 1%. The interior looks lush and sleek. Notice how they integrate the B-pillar cladding to contour and match the door panels? So few manufactures do that. Nice attention to detail. Great review guys.
the non manual vents would drive me insane, the rest is about perfect, wish it was a bit more off road with the off road package. but.. I can't afford it anytime in the next 3 years. that rear 3/4 omg... so perfect, Porsche does "hips" perfectly the etron is darn good looking, but this is the best of the bunch.
A unicorn of a car/ estate/ wagon! Saw it in person and it is shorter than thought it would be. I would take this model vs the sedan, question of practicality. Problem is all that power is NOT usable, thus settling for a 4/4 S or GTS would be plenty for the daily non-Autobah country. Love seeing Porsche make this unique car. Would def. be in my electric stable collection. Good review!

I think the Cross 4S is the sweetspot of the range for the off-roader look against rivals like the Volvo V90 CrossCountry and Audi A6 Allroad If you don’t like the cladding you choose the Sport range or for me the sweetspot the GTS version of the Tourismo against the Merc E63 estate or Audi RS6 Avant 🚙👍🏻 But for less than half the price I’d still be tempted by an updated and fully loaded Jaguar I-Pace, you could do a lot with the other £75k or so 💰🧐

The Glacier Blue Daytime LED Lights and 'Porsche Logo' is an options from Porsche otherwise the standard one has a the smoke glass looks. To be honest the Glacier blue is a really good options if you have darker body paint as it really makes it pop and stand out

I think that the taycan is best suited to be a wagon than a sedan looks-wise, along with that power and acceleration you get from the turbo s make for a neck-snapping package.
Definitely an option in 3 years when Porsche might provide adequate range. 200 mile range is as prohibitive as the price - minimum 300 mile range and this is a perfect road trip car
Porsche understates the Taycan's EPA range. If you're just cruising on the highway in range mode, where the Taycan is in RWD mode and can take advantage of its 2 speed rear transmission, the current Taycan already gets near 300 miles of range in real world testing done by multiple independent sites. For instance InsideEv does a 70 mph cruising test, and the Taycan RWD got 293 miles of range despite its 225 miles EPA rating, while the Model S Plaid only went a little bit further at 300 miles, even though Tesla gives it a claimed 348 miles EPA rating. Porsche understates range while Tesla overstates range.
Inside EVs has an article that says the Taycan sedan has anywhere between 275 and 285 miles (440 to 460 kilometers) depending on the trim. They will be a member of the 500km club before you know it.
backup cameras have made seeing what is behind you a lot easier. the taycans backup camera makes it harder to see things behind you. I would think that would make it in to someones review, also the tayacan is not super easy to get in and out of and no one petal driving?!? a lot of compromise for $200k
If only I had the money to buy one, I’d buy a Taycan 4S Cross Turismo. I prefer the cross over the sport for the fact that it is higher, more protected with the plastic covers which I’d definitely want in a car I’d spent so much money to buy, and I really think the 4S is the sweet spot. Enough horses for everyday use and to not feel underpowered, and there still is the launch control overboost for when I want to leave behind a Ferrari or Lamborghini at a red light.
Looks like it has some mad headroom for the passengers, but the look from the outside isn't my favorite. The hood lines don't match the rest of the car. Like they designed the cabin and then thought, "shoot, we still gotta put a motor in the front."
