Bel Air Park was always an upscale neighborhood, but it's fall apart. The roads need attention, plenty attention.

Bel Air Park was always an upper middle class residential district. The very rich lived abroad. Only now since Guyana has struct oil some of them are returning.
Hello from England..I can't stop commenting on the poor infrastructure. Not perfect In UK but when residents complain and write in the papers things get done. Our taxes pay for this. This is a lovely area for all Guyanese. However the roads are neglected by both parties and using cowboy contractors. I've travelled many time this beautiful country, and this frustrates me even more. Thanks for sharing your video. I would thought work would have started when I last visited 2018. Obviously NOT! Residents should complain to the council. Maybe their voices will be heard.

Why can’t these home owners come together and fix their roads, it’s a shame. I walked through those neighborhoods in the past and it is worse now than then : The home owners should get together and form a neighborhood association and get their roads fixed. Where is the pride? 😢😢😢😢

Don’t get me wrong , these are beautiful homes and a nice area , but after living overseas and seeing the type of infrastructure I,it looks terrible. The roads a mess , No side walkway and no drainage. No wonder there is flooding as soon as it rains heavy. Is from your gate unto the road . Pedestrian and cars on the same messed up road . I hope new developers would do a better infrastructure.👍🏾
Deteriorating road infrastructure under the ppp. Georgetown looks like a backward undeveloped waste land. Bel air was so beautiful. With all this oil money we can't even maintain our drainage and roadways. What a shame.
I always thought it was the City Council responsibility.
