    Guyana is following the playbook for countries that have oil discoveries. Look at Trinidad and Ghana. All your oil income will be used to take out loans and when oil prices decrease, the country will have to privatize to get a bail out from the IMF. The multi corporations make money both ways, building and buying those assets from guyana. Economic hitman 101.the world bank told guyana they do not need a refinery. Does guyana need hydro electricity with a population of less than 800,000 people. Trinidad with a population of over 1million people, power using only natural gas.

    This Collie Ali President must see the need to establish a military base in Guyana and spend on current defenses, with the aid of the US.

    What nonsense is this? Why the world fears Guyana???? Such BS!! Stick to things you know about.

      I think you misunderstood and took it too seriously. It's like with China and the US they feel the respect for each other, because they are big economic rivals. Here is a similar context. Guyana grows so rapidly that it could become one of the wealthiest countries potentially taking a big part of the market. Don't know why you take it negatively. Doesn't make sense at all

    • @ddb0831
      @ddb0831 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Legendary_Builds It makes a lot of sense because your presentation is full of holes. I am Guyanrse so I know the realities. All this brouhaha about Guyana becoming insanely wealthy is a pack of nonsense. Yes, their lot will improve a great deal, no doubt but let’s not exaggerate. Guyana has lots of challenges. It has a population of roughly 800 thousand, mostly unskilled. It faces threat from Venezuela. It has internal strife and lots of corruption and crime. These are all impediments to progress. All of a sudden youtubers have discovered Guyana. Where were you before guyana found oil?? Be pragmatic in your presentation and don’t post excitable and inflammatory headlines to get clicks. Be responsible and do research your topic before posting nonsense and making inaccurate statements.

    I am guyanese. Some of your information is inaccurate. The new demerara bridge is not important to connect georgetown to linden. There is already a direct road for this. The reason for the bridge is to connect west coast and transfer trade away from the residents on the east bank. How does the new port stop flooding in georgetown as you are claiming? Please come here and see for yourself before you publish misinformation.

      All information is based on official articles and sources if you know something more than the internet then I suppose it would be more valuable to get more information from you. Thanks for your comment here.

      @nomadhgnis9425 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@Legendary_Builds Of course I know. I live here. The linden highway connects linden to georgetown through the eastbank. The whole bridge and road to connect linden through the eastbank is not need since there is already a road. As I said. You need to come here and see for yourself.

      @@Legendary_Builds It would be more valuable if you do not repeat the nonsense and inaccuracies found on the internet which I highly doubt unless you can show the proof (links). You have clearly not done your research and have no firsthand knowledge of what you speak. Lastly, if the information is already on the internet why do you feel the need to plagiarize and repeat it??? Clickbait, monetization?

      These channels just jump on what the algorithm shows to receive more views , the operator of this channel most certainly does not even know anything about or have any interest in Guyana except in getting views on TH-cam. The inaccuracies in the content and general image grab inlayed by a few flying golden arrowhead and shots of Guyana acquired on the general internet. There is no reporting here , no research on the ground and no other gains except financial through views. The title is a giant click bait in itself.

    Pure lies. Guyana remains a poor country. Infrastructure is being poorly done, and the entire country is a mess.
