Guyana's masquerade culture is truly a unique one, and should be cherished and preserved after surviving the test of time, and is still going strong. The lyrical allure of the masqueraders and their music is addictive to anyone who listens.

Our COUNTRY, like many others still have vibrant communities that carry on our traditions. For those of us who left way too young to understand it's significance at the time, we're going back to our roots...
Thank you for the assurance,as i grew up playing these masquerades as a youth My grandma used to make my clothes from old clothes we used as bedding multicolored and very different each year i would love to see the kids today Play Mas it gave me a great deal of appreciation for all cultures
