- This is a tutorial in RNAV Approach Procedures in the PMDG Boeing 737 - 700 in Microsoft Flight Simulator (MSFS 2020).
This is an intro on how to use the correct mode selection on the MCP to execute the RNAV Approach.

hi, whenever I select rnav approaches the gs and sometimes localizer do not captured? why is that? i can see the rwy in the legs and using the fmc i select the rnv approach yet i do not see it? what else must do?
Which modes are you trying to use for the the RNAV approach?
that wasnt a bad landing, I cant seem to get the rnav magenta triangles to show when i put in for an rnav approach. also a video i watched the other day said if you dont deploy reversers within a second of the wheels touching the ground the engine mode goes to ground idle which takes a lot longer to get full reverse.
The deviation indicators should show automatically if you’re in the right modes. Yes, I think the manual says 2 seconds off the top of my head. I haven’t figured out an elegant way of mapping it on my setup yet so it takes longer.
@@Taylair Yea im not sure what im oing wrong im selecting rnac approaches in fmc and keeping the plane on lnav vnav but its dosnt show i cant seem to figure it out

Hi Jose! I just had a look at the procedure, it says that VNAV is not available below -15C, so we are all good here! You're making me nervous with this level of scrutiny! ;)

captain you are absolutely correct...because. _15°c is very cold but you were flying at 13°c and this is approximately equivalent to a good temperature, it is not very cold..you are the best...thank you.
