It does not work for me. The CMD A is armed and when I am CMD B, the CMD A dissengages.

@@Taylair yep happens to me too on the 737 800 cmd A is on enter approach mode select CMD B and B then disconnects

I set the right course, I do exactly like you, and when I engage the autopilot b+a, a de-activates , b activates and vice versa
