It's shape and paint scatter the incoming radar signal in every which direction so that the amount of signal that is able to hit the place surface squarely and bounce back towards the radar receiver is smaller than what you would expect from a plane of that size.

They have onboard transponders.
At 2:09 you can see a Luneburg lens radar reflector above the wing.

Well at least the pilots and support crew will get time for some fishing. Before the long winter...I mean hockey season starts.
