Nice to see Ant Kindom, i always like to see some good ant/termite interaction fotage. Keep them coming! Personally, i was impressed with the level of aggressivity of some species of termite workers when i took a trip to Thailand last year; not only i saw a large brown Macrotermes worker's immediatly attack ants on contact multiple time (while the workers of the Reticulitermes i have here in Europe rather retreat, triying to fight back only if cornered or grabbed) and also try to bite at my fingers with decision. It's also interesting to note that not only the termite species affect worker aggressivity levels, but (at least in Hodotermopsis, where this behaviour has been actually researched) by the caste accompaning them.

By the way, the termites in the two videos are likely Hypotermes sp., though checking for an eventual tooth on the left mandibles of the soldiers would be needed to separate them with precision from small Odontotermes species (who all have this tooth, while all Hypotermes don't).
If you think about it the termite worker is at least gonna die and be free of pain while the ant worker is experiencing fate worse than death(until the day it dies it’s gonna be rendered a liability or outcast)
