Lots of wood on the inside but dark teak or mahogany does make the inside look dark. But it looks like a safe boat, being a ketch means it won't lean over as much as sloops. Not really a blue water boat, but definitely a boat for the Caribbean.

Very practical layout. Also, love the camera work, when showing one area of the below decks you appear to be very careful about the field of view, so that there are no distracting teasers of other areas. It seems to be a production value that shows itself well before editing because of the talk through being a back and forth between the two of you. Perhaps a finicky thing to like so much, but I do have time on my hands to fully enjoy and think about the content I watch. I'm lucky.
I don't know why but this vessel really spoke to me and I loved the layout of the sail plan as I would be short handed or basically solo sailing with my wife and special needs son as crew, which the really wouldn't be capable of much. That engine room as access was one of the best I've seen. As you stated the only drawback I saw was the galley and for me it would be the lack of refrigeration/freezer space... Oh and the price for a 1973 with what appeared to be original engine and gen set is a bit high IMHO but that may depend on hours. It's still a bit much for a boat of this size and age though...
Just got myself a very well maintained Beneteau 30 and I'm going to sail her around the Caribbean for this summer, then get her back home to France in the next year or two. YET! Here I am looking at other boats 😢

I feel like some of these prices are crazy. There are comparable boats with some stated systems issues that are $25k. You put another $25k in that boat and you've got a better boat than what we just saw at a quarter of the price.

Interesting idea to put a wind gen up a mast. With the two wind generators that I've owned that wouldn't have worked because in high winds they needed to be locked off soon as not to damage themselves. I think that's why generally they aren't mounted up a mast.
Nice well equipped cruiser but I have found out recently that boats older than 30 to 40 years are getting difficult to insure. The asking price is a bit high in my opinion but an interested buyer could always start with a lower offer and go from there.
$200k for this, thats a POP yachts price, they'll be lucky to get $100k. Hope they have hurricane insurance, suppose to be a doozy of a season this year.
I like the boat but would have to add an independent AC unit in each bunk cabin and a swinging fold down nav station seat, all of which would make the boat even better.

It would be nice if you would video a little more of the technical side...auto pilot, engine and gen set condition ect. Beautiful boat and person like me would be very disappointed when I got there and found out the sails were in poor condition, needed new gen and engine overall.... I know your just touring the boat and not a broker. Still, I enjoy your videos and I would buy this boat even if I had to spend 25k but I too old.
This is for the discriminating yachtsman. Probably a bit overpriced at 200K perhaps as there is one in Annapolis by the same Broker at 75K. Having 'looked' at boats for fifty years it would be at the top of my list as a 'last' boat.
Way too expensive for what you get . I'll buy a Baltic 51 for that money : much better build quality and finish , faster and 8 berths . For less money a Baltic 48 DP beats this one to pulp
