Just discovered Captain Q, Yacht Hunter... You absolutely stands above the rest. Superior in depth presentation combined with expert commentaries and relevant historical background stories. Highly informative and entertaining content from start to finish. Congratulations!
Not the first comment this time. A Captain and of course Ran Day, It's been a long time because at my end since this "military action" a little bit busy. Last time I commented I think I was in Moscow with the virus. But for your 100th episode I had to say congrats to you both! 💥 I see you your subscriber count has really grown! Capt Q and Randy are the best, ever, of all time, across all spectrums and levels of competition, I even went multi-dimensional like to the 9 level of multiple parallel realities, and I still didn't find a duo that made better sailboat appraisal videos!
Another beauty, Captain Q, and one that provides an element of deja vu. A similar - or the same? - boat was owned by a friend, who I flew out to Maine to sail with on his freshly acquired vessel about 12 years ago. She was named "Arc d'Or" and I loved my time aboard. Without doubt the best laid-out sailing vessel I have experienced. She was in good order for her age and my friend, a true perfectionist, subsequently spent significant sums rendering her near as good as new and, in some respects, better than new. I had hoped he would transat her over to Europe (with me as crew), but he retained her in Maine for occasional only summer use & had her cocooned indoors each winter. If I had the money & time, I would without hesitation purchase her.
My footnote: Have dug-out photos of "Arc D'or" taken by my friend in about 2015 (after I had sailed on her, & with her subsequent improvements) and the main items in galley, chart table area, etc appear to be exactly the same. However, she was by then fitted with a Monitor windvane, which I note the boat now for sale lacks. Having installed and used a Monitor vane on my own boat some years back, I find it hard to believe anyone would divest themselves of such a brilliant piece of kit - always performed perfectly & absolutely no back-chat! So, No.1 'crewmember', rendering solo sailing practical.
i have only sailed with a monitor for about an hour but i dream about their use and all the similar products as well my son in law and daughter just sailed to greenlamd with their Hydro vane in 40-50 kts of wind in the Labrador sea in total comfort wow
@@YachtHunters Congratulations to your daughter & son in law, that must have been quite an experience! For oceanic single-handing I'd probably be tempted to pay extra in opting for the Hydrovane, if only for its capacity to be utilised as an emergency rudder. It is of course a very well proven piece of kit: not in the least by Jean-Luc Van den Heede employing one in winning in 2019 the Golden Globe Race in 211 days in his hard-driven Rustler 36.
Captain A and Ran-day....what a gem of a boat! Kudos to the wonderful owner who has taken such amazing care if it! Truly awesome and possibly my favorite yet. ❤️ Congratulations on your 100th episode! On Thursday I hurry home from work and looking forward to whatever delightful episode awaits!
When you think you can charter this boat for a week and check out the bugs under sail it becomes a no brainer at the asking price. Cheoy Lee has a pedigree that is almost like it takes home "best in show" more often than the other dogs out there. All that's missing is a 20 knot push and a star to steer by. You may need to expand your scoring wheel size at this rate Captain Q. I too wish to see the Randay progress since the sea cock conundrum. Happy trails boys.
Congratulations on hitting 100 episodes!!! This is truly a beautiful (and affordable) boat that you have found! Another great video Captain Q and Ran-Day!!!
Ha, ha! "Grips the weenie out of it." Oh, that took me by surprise and I just burst out laughing. I still look forward to spending my Thursday's with Cap'n Q and Ran-Day. Thank you for making these great videos.
Okay, I'm going to mention something about mid-eighties Cheoy Lees - or at least the 1985 built, Robert Perry designed CL 48 which I examined thoroughly about four years ago in the Seattle area. The boat was dirt cheap, having deck damage caused by leaking teak bung holes and was abandoned by the owner - it was being sold by the yard for back rent. The teak deck had been removed; the screw holes epoxied. The interior was stripped, and it was easy to see how the boat had been put together. The big problem we discovered was that the boat's fiberglass layup was ENTIRELY matt and resin - not a single layer of woven roving. And woven roving is the big strength factor in fiberglass hulls. The bulkheads were tabbed in on one side only with matt, not roving - and not even attached to the deck! We could look at the layup where thru-hulls had been removed and confirm our examination. The deck core was widely spaced strips of plywood, often with extensive gaps. I was not impressed with construction of the boat at all, but to the average boater, when it was factory new and with furniture/headliner covering everything, it probably looked very nice and Perry's design was gorgeous. I have read of large Cheoy Lee powerboats turning out to be built with nothing but matt - and at least one was damaged when hauled out due to the brittle hull cracking while being on a Travelift; and I recall the owner sued. I'm sure other years of CLs are okay, but something was going wrong around the time this featured Pedrick design was built, so I'd look carefully to see if the hull actually contains alternating layers of roving/matt. My entire opinion of CL changed after that inspection.
Pedrick is an engineer as well as a naval architect and would have provided a laminate schedule along with the design. Pedrick would have included contractual obligations by Cheoy Lee to build the boat as specified in his design agreement. I did survey a 1967 Sigma 38 built by Cheoy Lee to an S&S design and it was a proper laminate although laid up hot. That said, yes, corners were cut all across Asia.
@@BrianNavalinsky I read an article where Pedrick himself was arguing with CL for not following his laminate schedule. I believe he quit designing for them after that dispute.
@@BrianNavalinsky Following is a quote on R. Perry's SAILING ANARCHY: I had a customer call me out to look at a project once. It was a 100ft+/- Custom Cheoy Lee yawl. She had gone into a shipyard in Bayou La Batre AL for a bow thruster installation, they put her right into the slings and picked her up,,,,,with full tanks. The hull pulled away from all the bulkheads and stiffeners allowing diesel and freshwater to flood the boat. . The hull was a total loss. Now this was an much older boat but the very interesting thing, when we took hull samples, she was constructed entirely of Chopped Strand Mat.. Not a stitch of roving in the entire boat. Never had much faith in CL's after that.
@@Morrisfactor It doesn't surprise me. When you had yards in Taiwan using newspaper and polyester resin for keel fillets and woven hemp for woven roving, all bets are off. I saw bamboo coring in a deck laminate on a trawler. I also saw a filler that looked like peanut butter with the consistency of peanut brittle only to find out it was rice flower mixed with cheap polyester resin. It was a nightmare, but a few yards hired me to clean up their act. I will never forget when laminating rollers I ordered from Japan showed up at one yard. It was literally like when the band instruments showed up in Music Man. The entire crew was in amazement.
@@Morrisfactor Insane. But we had our share of powerboat builders in the US using strictly a chopper gun, which is worse. Luckily those days are gone for good, I hope.
Thanks for the tour. Very nice boat in design, construction and condition. It's a treat to get to see her, and there is always something to learn. Typo: swaging is spelled with an A not an E. So swage, not swege.
wow Cap't Q and R-Day! great find, truly beautiful, and the meticulous and wonderful care really shows!!.. the interior is spotless, no wonder Sea Dog asked for a lift over the mud! hmmm regarding 25:11 having spent most of the sail in this location (are we heading back yet?!) this dual purpose headrest is much appreciated!... :-0~
These Cheoy Lee’s just floor me! It’s a name I knew nothing about until TH-cam. Their motor sailers are spectacular. This 47’ sailboat is no exception to my new “Cheoy Lee” rule. Thanks gents! Cheers
Congratulations on your 100th episode! Look forward to your new episode every week. Crewed for my father’s boss on his 40’ wooden, flush deck sloop in the early 1960’s. A couple of years after I had to get a real summer job he bought a brand new Choey Lee. The plugs of the hull from the through hull fittings were amazing - over 1” thick fiberglass with no sandwich of balsa or foam.
Congratulations on 100 Episodes!! I have a 78' Cheoy Lee Offshore 32', and love my girl! Got to be honest... You'll never find any cans of Dinty Moore Beef Stew on my boat.,. That's an allergy issue nothing against them. Love watching you guys! Please Stay Safe & Can't Wait For 101!! Keep up the amazing work!
Nice to see the Newport cruse. Yea.. This boat at this price.... Wow~ I am now considering your videos (along with Randy's boat updates) just plain Dream Fuel ~~~ a You Tube thing. Thank you so much. You and Randy do provide "What Dreams are made of !" Just one other Sailing Subscription: (that guy Ian in San Diego) ~~~. You guys are the best! ~ Thank you for all that you do ! ~~~. Just imagine.
What a prize! I especially like the red trim on the boat. Not something you see very often. Cheoy Lee certainly knows to build and outfit a boat. Maybe you and Ran-day can take a trip to their facilities and give us a tour of the Cheoy Lee Shipyards and talk with the owners in Zhuhai, China.
@@YachtHunters Ours is actually not an Offshore! She is a CL41... the combination of the Pedrick and Offshore design so Cheoy Lee could avoid paying royalties. we will have to give you a boat tour sometime!
I am almost sad because of this episode. I am still 18 months from buying a boat, yet...here is the boat I want. It is so beautiful!! Gosh, I will have to keep my eye out for another example of one of these...wow!
WOW Episode 100 !! Way to go Captain Q and Randay !! To borrow a phrase: "this is the stuff that dreams are made of". At this price point one has to wonder if there is some big hole in the hull or an infestation of squirrels in the bilge or something. It's an affordable ocean going home. I could see myself living aboard until I can no longer care for myself. That galley makes me drool for some beef stew. The engine looks like it was rebuilt 1 hour ago. Wait, I figured out the low price, no bow thruster ? This is a sale waiting to happen, no pun intended. I would be shocked if this beautiful boat isn't already under contract. If I had the cash (or the income) I'd be on the next plane to Southern Maine. There is literally nothing I can see that would keep me from moving on board and heading out to sea. With the current political climate I might be tempted to never look back. +2 points for the nav station, so a TrueScore of 51 ! Amazing boat, always good to see you Captain, looking forward to the next 100 episodes with you and Randay. Cheers !! 💯✌
I did a number of surveys, mostly as an owner's rep, in Asia in the 80's and 90's on yachts under construction. Cheoy Lee had their own way of doing things. They were fair to middling, but I think their association with Pedrick brought them along to building a better boat.
@@YachtHunters Practically every yard in Hong Kong or Taiwan was sorely in need of a laminate engineer. I won't list the items I found in the laminate schedule, it was disgusting. At the time the only Asian Lloyd's 100A1 approved yard was TaShing in Tainan, Taiwan. Absolutely stellar laminate schedules carefully performed by a really talented crew.
O.M.G. Cap she is stunning ,And that price? that's giving her away . she has been lovingly cared for .she will draw anyone's eye at any dock you would take her to .Even here in the west coast of Wa. I can hear her calling , Summers hear let's go sailing .

@@YachtHunters as an individual right on the very cusp between boomer and gen x your presentations give me inspiration. I've never sailed in my life but I am completely fascinated and submerged into the potential I could actually do it as a lifestyle. I'm closer to 60 than 55 so I guess I'm considered a boomer. Your channel brings me inspiration and joy. Thanks for what you do much appreciated guys!
Well I absolutely love this boat ❤️, everything about it and the wood finishes inside are so warm and beautiful... I would buy this boat today if I could...
Congratulations on Episode 100! A major milestone indeed. I look forward to your episodes each week and enjoy learning something each time I watch. Is it possible thay you may attend the Annapolis Boat show? Would love to meet you both in person some time. I missed your meet up and sail.
Just found your channel and this is the first video I've watched and it was wonderful. You guys are great together as a team and it seems as if you have lots of knowledge and wisdom of boats and sailing. I'm new to this sport and always wanted to do it but being a professional chef and owning and running my catering business for 30+ years didn't allow me much time for myself. I'm now 53 and semi retired and very excited to learn how to sail and eventually purchase a sailboat. Glad to know there are beautiful used boats like this one for reasonable prices. One question: do you think I'm too old to get into a hobby like this? I know most sailors start out much younger than me and have bought many boats over their lives starting small and working their way up to bigger ones. Since I'm already up there in age, I feel maybe I won't have the time to start small and move up slowly but I also realize that it's probably better to start small to learn the basics. I'm afraid I won't have enough time. Does this make sense? I'm not rich either so I wouldn't be able to buy several boats and resell them at loss and still have enough to buy my dream boat. I would like to eventually sail down the east coast (I'm from Pennsylvania) into the Caribbean and live on my boat with my wife for maybe half the year and then work the other half to finance our trips. Anyway, it's a dream of mine. What would be your recommendation for someone like myself who is new to the hobby and my age? I'm fit and healthy (yes, even as a chef) and love to get my hands dirty. I'm pretty handy with engines, plumbing, woodwork and some electrical too. Not afraid to work. Thank you for your time and sharing your many years of knowledge with all of us in these videos. I'm looking forward to your thoughts and more videos and more learning. Best of luck with your channel! You've got a new subscriber! Take care and God bless!
Bon appétit Phillip You are absolutely in perfect situation to start your sailing career. 53 is young you have some money in a business behind you, you have some skills other than boiling lobsters or flipping burgers. You are ready to take a boat and head to the islands and when Cash gets short cook up a banquet. Seriously all you need to do is find a sailing school nearby learn to sail a small boat and I recommend something between 18 and 20 feet. I taught in Rhodes 19s which is a perfect learning tool. The beauty about selling is that if you can sell a 19 footer you can sell a 50 footer or more. The only difference is learning how to fix all the extra stuff that we think we need to go offshore like engines and icemakers electronics etc. etc. etc. As far as learning all the extentricities in the menusia of sailing I would recommend offering your body up as rail meet on some local racers Windward rail. You will learn a lot very quickly and be comfortable making the boat you choose able to go in light air or survive a storm or claw your way off a Lee shore As always I recommend reading anything you can get your hands on so that you immerse yourself in technology and terminologies involved with boats that you might choose to live upon. I would love to have the 35 years back myself but trust me you’re in great space. My way of an example, my son-in-law taught him self how to sail about six years ago and he is in his early 50s right now and as we speak his navigating His own 46 foot boat through the Northwest passage dodging icebergs etc. he will be able to read his story in a national geographics publication sometime next fall I imagine. While you’re learning be sure to watch as many videos as you can especially Captain Q episodes and scour the local craigslist as well ascruisingworld.com. You are not gonna believe what you are about to experience Sailing is right up there with great sex and a perfect Beef Wellington (Or for some of use a superb Dinty Moore on egg noodles)
@@YachtHunters wow, thanks Captain Q! I was a little concerned that I may be a little too old so this makes me feel very happy. I will try to see if I can find a sailing club near me but since I'm in SE Pennsylvania it's been a bit difficult. Any particular books, channels, websites you'd recommend for a beginner like me? If I understand you correctly is to try to learn as much from other sailors on their boats and maybe rent out a smaller boat a few times to learn and then buy my dream boat? Is that what you meant? What I'm most concerned about is when I go to look at my dream boat (it will be used because I'm not rich) how do I avoid being sold a lemon? When it comes to classic cars and some motorcycles I know what to look for but sailboats are new to me and I don't even know all the lingo. What did you mean about "offering my body up as rail meet on some local racers...." or something like that to learn? I think this was a typo, lol! I am still amazed with some of these boats you feature. Where do you find them and since I'm from Pennsylvania where would you suggest I look for my dream boat when the time comes? Up in New England or along the east or west coast, Florida, Texas? Where is the best place or I suppose it could be anywhere. I've looked online but never saw good deals like you seem to feature in your videos. If I could find a ready to go bluewater sailboat over 40 feet for less than 90k I'd be ecstatic! Very cool about your son in law too! Thanks for relaying that story as we seem to be about the same age although he had a head start on me learning how to sail. Thanks again for your thoughts here Captain! Appreciate them. Sailing better than sex?! Hmm, I guess we'll have to find out, lol! Just because I'm a professional chef doesn't mean I can't appreciate some Dinty More over noodles, haha! I'm half Italian so I love pasta!🤣 Take care and God bless!
Hi Captain Q and Randy , wow that boat is beautiful well worth the money I think if that was in Australia I would Buy it without hesitation looks fantastic I believe it go though survey Without much problem Cliff from Logan city Queensland Australia
I do have a question about the stainless steel grade used on this boat? Heard there was a problem with the early 304 stainless steel used at this time. Especially if the chain plates were then encapsulated in the fiberglass (airless environment). The 304 SS would corrode to failure. Causing the standing rigging to fail. Thus the mast to fail. Chevy Lee and Island Packet suffered the same failures until the 2000s when 316 stainless steel was introduced. From the pictures you showed, it looks like the chain plates on this vessel are this very type?
Loving your show and looking forward to more of Ran-Days purchase updates. Am wondering if you are selling any Captain Q apparel ? Would love to have a Captain Q cap or t-shirt. 😁👍🍻
Ufdah; what a boat! I do not remember any other boat where the door to the forward berth was on the port side. That seems a bit unusual; true? For what you're getting, that seems to be a steal.
you guys crackme up i think some of you spend way too much time on these episodes and probably lose sleep thinking up these things hahahaha but we love the devotion

Good eye… we missed it but you’re right… a little water damage to the veneer adjacent to the mid-ship companionway. Happens to some of those veneers over time and exposure to water

Stunning boat, and the price isn't too bad for what you are getting. Just wondering the Captain is coming out with his own signature line of Topsiders. After 3 or 4 years of nearly daily wear mine are finally about to give up the ghost. Any thoughts along that line? Should I maybe put in a good word at Sperry? @@Morrisfactor Insane. But we had our share of powerboat builders in the US using strictly a chopper gun, which is worse. Luckily those days are gone for good, I hope.
Thanks for the tour. Very nice boat in design, construction and condition. It's a treat to get to see her, and there is always something to learn.
Typo: swaging is spelled with an A not an E. So swage, not swege.
Duly noted thank you
wow Cap't Q and R-Day! great find, truly beautiful, and the meticulous and wonderful care really shows!!.. the interior is spotless, no wonder Sea Dog asked for a lift over the mud! hmmm regarding 25:11 having spent most of the sail in this location (are we heading back yet?!) this dual purpose headrest is much appreciated!... :-0~
I’m watching this again, back to back. If I could afford her, she would be sold.
Now your talking Cpt. Q. I have always liked the Cheoy Lee designs, especially the ketch's.
These Cheoy Lee’s just floor me! It’s a name I knew nothing about until TH-cam. Their motor sailers are spectacular. This 47’ sailboat is no exception to my new “Cheoy Lee” rule.
Thanks gents!
Cheers
If you ever want to see more... we have a Cheoy Lee 41!
Couldn't agree more!
Great Chao Lee. Amazing that being a charter boat it is so well maintained.
Good point!! And chartering in Maine is no joke… gotta keep an eye out for a lot of things
Congratulations on your 100th episode!
Loved every one of them.
Thank you You are a brave soul. But you should get out more
Congratulations on 100 Episodes!!
Hey! We live aboard a Cheoy Lee 41' in California! Where are you sailing?
Nice to see the Newport cruse. Yea.. This boat at this price.... Wow~ I am now considering your videos (along with Randy's boat updates) just plain Dream Fuel ~~~ a You Tube thing. Thank you so much. You and Randy do provide "What Dreams are made of !" Just one other Sailing Subscription: (that guy Ian in San Diego) ~~~. You guys are the best! ~ Thank you for all that you do ! ~~~. Just imagine.
Definitely going to check out Ian when we catch a breather this coming week (we shot a lot last week)
She is beautiful and I just love the Cheoy Lee's when they've been taken care of and well maintained.
Talk about a dream live aboard, just wow...
Agreed!!
Thank you for this tour of another beautiful Cheoy Lee. Someone is going to get a fantastic deal on this one. Have a great weekend Captain and Randay.
We hope it goes to a great new crew... excited to welcome them to the Cheoy Lee family!
like adoptinfg a dog...99% chance it will get a lot of love and attention and it will return it in kid
Congratulations on 100 episodes. Keep up the good work you do. Love the humor and the boats.
thanks very much, James. 100 snuck up on us!! ;)
Sounds like a great idea… just need china airlines to come through with that ticket
What a score for someone! I wish it was me. One of the best ever Captain! Thanks!
agreed, michael... just lovely all the way around!
This one is a beautiful yacht. I just need to hit the lottery and I'm on it. ✌️😎👍
It would be awesome if Captain Q and Ran-Day find a classic multihull one day...
Although we LOVE our Cheoy Lee 41' the Pedrick 47' is a dream boat of ours. There is so much potential!
Your layout on the offshore is pretty great with the round settee… so many great features on the Offshore 41… keep up the great work, you two!!
@@YachtHunters Ours is actually not an Offshore! She is a CL41... the combination of the Pedrick and Offshore design so Cheoy Lee could avoid paying royalties. we will have to give you a boat tour sometime!
Two stunning boats in two weeks. You guys are on a roll
I am almost sad because of this episode. I am still 18 months from buying a boat, yet...here is the boat I want. It is so beautiful!! Gosh, I will have to keep my eye out for another example of one of these...wow!
Don't despair your girl is waiting for you and good things come to those who wait,,,,,,, (sometimes)
Great post my friends. Beautiful. 🌞🌴⛵️
Noting how the anchor is bolted together it looks like an Mantus M1 anchor as opposed to a Rocna.
Nice boat, Great review.
Cheers !! 💯✌
Thanks so much Gordon!! Well said… the owner was a maritime guy and really knew how to care for this beauty… a great dream boat for sure!!
I did a number of surveys, mostly as an owner's rep, in Asia in the 80's and 90's on yachts under construction. Cheoy Lee had their own way of doing things. They were fair to middling, but I think their association with Pedrick brought them along to building a better boat.
interesting... does make sense that he could help give them some direction. thanks!
What a beautiful sailboat Captain! You find some real gems. We need an update from Ran-Day!
It’s overdue… but coming in the next week. Thanks!!
O.M.G. Cap she is stunning ,And that price? that's giving her away . she has been lovingly cared for .she will draw anyone's eye at any dock you would take her to .Even here in the west coast of Wa. I can hear her calling , Summers hear let's go sailing .
Let's GOOOOOO! :)

Thanks Kathleen!! #100 snuck up on us!! Cheers
Great Walkthrough, What a lovely yacht !
Wow this boat is just incredible, my favorite so far. Makes that livaboard life look so desireable haha. Maybe one day... 🤔
Anyways thanks for the fantastic tour you guys always make the best videos. Detailed, right video length, and witty commentary. Love it!
Thanks Darth… keep an eye out for that son of yours
Thanks for posting and sharing. That is a beautiful boat.

Another great showing gents thanks again! Really appreciate your channel and what you do
Thanks Kevi!! Appreciate the comments and feedback since the early days! 👍

as an individual right on the very cusp between boomer and gen x your presentations give me inspiration. I've never sailed in my life but I am completely fascinated and submerged into the potential I could actually do it as a lifestyle. I'm closer to 60 than 55 so I guess I'm considered a boomer.
Your channel brings me inspiration and joy. Thanks for what you do much appreciated guys!
Look at all those orange hats on the deck....looks like everyone had a great time , sorry couldn't make it ....
perhaps on our next outing :)
A beauty, a well thought out boat!!!!
Well I absolutely love this boat ❤️, everything about it and the wood finishes inside are so warm and beautiful... I would buy this boat today if I could...
We agree!
Happy 100th to you and Randay, Captain Q. Awesome boat for the price and well worth 42 points I'd say.
Thanks Fred!! Cheers
Magnificent boat! Now the real estate is ridiculous live aboard should be rockin it.
Gorgeous vessel. This would make a great cruiser or world traveler. Immaculate condition.
We agree!
We live aboard a Cheoy Lee 41' that we are cruising - they are remarkable vessels!
These boats right here are on my top 10 world Cruisers
Great taste, James!! You’d be well off taking this one around the world
Congratulations on 100 episodes. Looking forward to the next 100.
Thanks very much! That snuck up on us!!
Lovely Choi Lee. ... Cheers. ...
Great video and great boat. But even the captain had some hesitations about the hidden flaws... definitely a surveyors dream...
Congratulations on Episode 100! A major milestone indeed. I look forward to your episodes each week and enjoy learning something each time I watch. Is it possible thay you may attend the Annapolis Boat show? Would love to meet you both in person some time. I missed your meet up and sail.
Thank you very much! We are hoping to hit the show again this year depending on .....
Seroously, one of the most stand-out boats you have done and $90,000.00 looks to be a few K less than most other comparable boats. Thanks
Yea seems like a lot of bang for the buck!!
So many Cheoy Lee's have been abused. So it's great to see one this well cared for.
What a beauty!
It really is so sad to see :( we LOVE our Cheoy Lee and have worked hard to restore her to her former glory and beyond
and youve done a great job i hope our viewers can find SAILING AVOCET ON YOU TUBE

True… too caught up in the beautiful woodwork!! 😍
This boat is amazing! Wow I'm sold...😁
How much did YOU go for?
OMG!
I love this boat!
Bon appétit Phillip
You are absolutely in perfect situation to start your sailing career.
You will learn a lot very quickly and be comfortable making the boat you choose able to go in light air or survive a storm or claw your way off a Lee shore
As always I recommend reading anything you can get your hands on so that you immerse yourself in technology and terminologies involved with boats that you might choose to live upon.
You are not gonna believe what you are about to experience
Sailing is right up there with great sex and a perfect Beef Wellington
(Or for some of use a superb Dinty Moore on egg noodles)
I'm half Italian so I love pasta!🤣
Take care and God bless!
Beautiful condition, nice older layout and great deal.
Thank you very much!
Hi Captain Q and Randy , wow that boat is beautiful well worth the money I think if that was in Australia I would Buy it without hesitation looks fantastic I believe it go though survey Without much problem Cliff from Logan city Queensland Australia
Agree Cliff… let us know if you decide to buy it and need help sailing her back home. We’ve got two volunteers right here! Cheers😎
We do. See the link under the episode description under “more”
I always liked Cheoy Lee's. They make some trawlers BTW. This one seems real nice 'cept it's missing a mast.
It is!! I added one to the PB so perhaps it’s not too late!! 😄
These guys remind me of Mr. Peabody and Sherman. “What do we call this Mr. Peabody?” (Meant as a complement…I enjoy the vids.)
you are surprisingly closer than you might realize hahahaha
Ufdah; what a boat! I do not remember any other boat where the door to the forward berth was on the port side. That seems a bit unusual; true?
For what you're getting, that seems to be a steal.
you guys crackme up i think some of you spend way too much time on these episodes and probably lose sleep thinking up these things hahahaha but we love the devotion

gorgeous!!
At the exact moment you said "there are no signs of moisture" my eyes fell on the worst area on the entire boat (to the left of the fire extinguisher. lol 15:59
Good eye… we missed it but you’re right… a little water damage to the veneer adjacent to the mid-ship companionway. Happens to some of those veneers over time and exposure to water

couldn't agree more.... speaks to the merchant marine owner... he knows how to take care of a boat!

this is true!!! ;)
Keep the good stuff coming guys and aren't we about due for some news on Randay's boat?
Well overdue!! Coming to you hopefully this week. CQ swears by his Sperrys, R goes with Cole Haan or helly Hansen. Cheers Johnny
Lovely boat
20-25° off the wind? That would be quite the accomplishment for an old Choey Lee!
Oh did I say that
