How different is the arcade version compared to the Online Edition? Because I notice that some tourneys are using one and some the other. They should just standardize on one IMO and considering using consoles is a lot less hassle than actual arcade cabs/boards they should just go with Online Edition. That's if there are noticeable differences between the games ofc.
R69NIX Good question! I would say the same. I'm seeing more and more events that has SF3 using cabs only. But other than cooperation cup, these isn't really any major tournaments for SF3 in the US. But I've always felt that the Dreamcast ver was the next best thing to the arcade Rom. With the 360 ver right after.
Arcade on cab is the purest form of the game. It's a lot better than any version of the game. Online Edition even on CRT offline isn't as good as arcade on a cab. Pros need arcade timing to pull off all their tech.
Arcade runs slightly slower than 60fps, emulation has not been able to achieve this effect. What this means is that there are certain things you can react to much easier on cab. Makes the game more dynamic.
@@HagaishiSama The Dreamcast version is version B where they nerfed Urien and Oro's unblockables. That is a big reason why nobody plays it and used PS2 back in the day instead.
Hagaishi TV dream cast version was notoriously bad. No unblockables. Timing differences. Yun geneijin hp doing as much damage as his palm. Dudley machine gun blow more frames(making it harder to do multiple lp machine gun blow ) etc. Thanks for the video though. Good content.
