    Was not expecting to get emotional watching this video, but listening to her talk and care for her family made me miss my Grandmas so much. Both my grandma and great grandma were the cooks in our family and spoke so gently like her 🤍 Since they've passed away years ago things just haven't been the same.

      Hi Faithvang, cooking and eating our Hmong food does bring back so much precious memories of our mothers and grandmas. I'm happy that you sense a connection to your grandma and great grandma when watching this video. Thanks for watching.

    The food looks delicious. Not only that you are an amazing cook but if only other nationalities can hear how you speak to your family in Hmong (your verbiage), your love towards your kids and snl are just so beautiful. You have such a kind and loving soul as a mother. I love that you respect your son who is a vegetarian. Thank you for an amazing video. Happy eating. 🧡

    Mee, can you do a video to help teach us Hmong leeg? Ever since I moved out of my parents house and my mother passed away, I don’t speak it anymore and I feel like I’m losing my hmong.

      Hi KL, I am not quite fluent in Hmong Leeg too. I am Hmoob dawb and married a Hmong Leeg man and have worked very hard to learn the dialect and raising my children speaking just Hmong Leeg dialect. Perhaps someday I can do a video just speaking Hmong Leeg dialect. Thanks for a good suggestion and watching my videp.

    Can anyone explain about Hmong?

    • @meeliving1345
      @meeliving1345  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello Veve, Hmong is an Asian ethnic originally from China and in the 1800's many thousands had migrated to Vietnam, Laos and Thailand. From there, many hundreds of Hmong have come to the United States. My video here features some of the authentic Hmong dishes. Thanks for asking and watching my video.
