I took a flight on a brand new luxury airline that left me wondering only one thing - how is this airline making any money?

My guess is that one reason the flight was so empty is that it was pushed back by six hours. A lot of people don't have the flexibility to move their flight time so much on such short notice. Some of the people who were going to fly on that flight probably rescheduled to a flight that was leaving closer to their original time.
Brilliant point. Which leads one to wonder the reason for pushing the flight back by six hours. Such cumulative developments on a repeated basis could drastically jeopardise the new airline's chances of survival. One cannot help but wonder who's running the show, and whether the cause is incompetence at the top or something else. Adding the new stopover is the biggest question --- What financial motive could offset the losses. I wish everyone well and hope they sort things out.
Maybe they had to take it to the tailor to measure for half a meter taller sides and privacy dividers 😃😃
Seriously, reverse herringbone was invented for a reason and "feeling open" while being a fancy design concept is disastrous if people can regain privacy at a press of a button. Only Etihad would have money for that kind refit.

I know Zurich Airport. Unfortunately, if you fly economy, they are still friendly. But they have become rare. Customer does everything on his own. If there is a problem, you can wait 10 minutes because only one employee and what feels like 3 school classes, a baseball team, a soccer team, a traditional costume group and 300 individual customers check in at the same time 😮😮😮
After the Greyhound incident Noel deserves all the luxury.

Finding out Noel is 6’4” - 6’5” was the wildest part of the video to me.

You don't notice it in videos all the time, but when he stands next to somebody- he's tall. FTR- he also did a circumnavigation flying only budget airlines. He did that so we don't have to .

I have had 3 arrivals and 3 departures from Zurich and have stayed at on of the airport adjacent hotels twice. Absolutely delightful. Bonus, a nice Coop grocery store in the airport.
Thank you Noel, for not putting "The worlds first all business class airline" like every other TH-camr. Beond claiming that is just stupid and unneeded, the product is solid, for a couple heading to the Maldives it's almost perfect.
WOW! I think Beyond are beyond amazing. There’s something about the vibe here I love. The airport experience, service, aeroplane, ambiance, etc.. love it!

That was one lucky leg of your trip! Every flight I manage to book is packed solid featuring the most overworked crew in the skies. I love this concept of all business seats, I will happily pay a bit more for it, and I will absolutely be searching it out next time I travel!

At least once to let em have the chance - My GF HATES longterm flights (cant sleep) so getting her in Business for once would make everything a ton easier.

I really like the idea of the "loo review" section, but I wonder what you expected. If there is a toilet and a sink, everything's clean and works, and all the amenity items are there, that's a win in my book. It's an aircraft. You make it sould as if you were expecting mroe. I wonder what that would be.

Noel I believe that the airline is actually CH Air, CH is the code for Switzerland 🇨🇭. If I remember correctly it’s shown in two different colours Blue and Red to separate it so it’s not seen as Chair.
No the airline called Beond. Trying to get pax from Munich but at the beginning of the year, the luxury holiday airline cancelled eleven Male flights from Munich and Zurich. Now Beond is putting the brakes on even more and is removing the airport in the Bavarian capital from its flight schedule for the summer, as the portal Touristik Aktuell first reported, citing a customer message.
"Beond will temporarily suspend flights from Munich to Malé for the summer season, which begins on March 10, 2024," a Beond spokesperson confirmed.

German speakers call this little train the "Kuh-Bahn", which is a play in "U-Bahn" (subway/underground, with the "U" being short for "Untergrund" or underground) and "Kuh" being the German word for cow, because of the cow bells you hear during the ride (assuming this hasn't changed; I have used the Kuh-Bahn many times in the past, but not recently).
As long as the loo is clean. And I'm watching your videos to see someone traveling and having a great time.

Great video Noel. I love the empty airport, such a rare thing and a massive contrast to just about any other city airport, enjoy it while you can lol. I loved the plane, not seen seats like that before, thank you for taking us with you on another fun journey. Also, you have every right to enjoy your work, we as viewers love to see you excited about things, so please don't feel guilty, your enjoyment is our enjoyment.

Midwest Express…..using DC9’s in an all business class layout, albeit 30 years ago where that consisted of only the bigger seat. But, my company at one point leased a Midwest Express jet for scheduled shuttle service NY to Chicago, I used it a couple of times. Flight time 2.5 hours, Lobster tail dinner served, plane mostly empty. On the NY side, it was great because it was flown from White Plains, but on the Chicago side, it was flown from Midway, which was way further from the office than ORD. The Corporate arrangement only lasted just shy of a year. It was back to using my charm to talk my way onto the Gulfstream IV over to Chicago when I needed to get there.
Just started watching, but I gotta say that gate agent was so friendly, very refreshing to see.
Well done Noel in finding the unusual airlines and like you most impressed with the whole experience and the compensation was a bonus. Well done sir!! Blue skies as always.

And actually, I have always lived by one of my previous employer's travel policy: spend like it was your own money. I am not skimping on travel when travelling on my own penny, and I am not skimping when travelling on company money. but I never, ever pay for something I wouldn't pay for myself.

I enjoy the amenity kit because of the bag and not what's inside. American started using cardboard boxes with the same old stuff inside. I used to keep the kits and I left mine on the plane the last couple times.

Do you need to see a tag? 🤣 Noel is the only dude in the entire airport. A cool airline concept though. I might give them a try on my next DBX trip.
This year at LAX, I arrived a bit early at the airport for my flight to Munich, so my family and I scrambled around the airport for a lounge, then I remembered the airline I was flying with, Lufthansa, is a star alliance member, so we were able to check into the star alliance lounge. They had amazing food there, especially their fresh fruit and complimentary chocolate cupcakes.

My best empty flight was about 20 of us flying to lefkas in greece on a monarch 757 as one guy knew people wh o rented the plane to ship equipment. For the sailing season.we were there to route find mtb trails. Great trip . That was the early 90s
Mine was about 30-40 people on an Air France *747* on a fifth-freedom flight within South America, from Buenos Aires to Rio de Janeiro via Campinas and an unexpected longer detour to Santiago as well. I didn't want that flight to end!
Was 9 people on a transatlantic A330 once. Felt quite private, and service was amazing, haha!
Yes I met an angry Swiss, I was driving in an unfamiliar town & my satnav gave me a late instruction resulting in my car going slightly over a stop line at some traffic lights. The barmey bloke starting ranting & raving,pointing at the line & at my car. I was not blocking him at all. But I broke the rules !!!

I would definitely fly with them. I am claustrophobic and usually sit bulkhead, but that set up is nicely spaced out.
21:48 got stranded at this airport for 15 hours when the Dubai floods happened earlier this year; no open vendors for food and my 1 year old didn’t have a meal 20 hours. Thanks for bringing back those horrible memories Noel 😂
