Glad that somebody finally did a review on this gun. I have the twin of your gun though mine started as the MK25 which I upgraded with the pro-cut slide with Romeo and X300U. I got a couple of 2011's that are more expensive than my Sig226 but guess which gun I put on the table stand at night? yep it's my SigP226 that I trust my family's life with. My first Sig P226 shot 200 rounds out of the box at the range with no hiccups so I outfitted my kids with the same gun so when shit hits the fan, we all have a reliable pistol and use the same magazine.
Good choice, my friend. Thanks for the comment.
I gave up my procut slide. I got dirt in the lightning cuts during a run and gun and it started having ftf and fte. what made it worse was the dirt sticked to the oil in my slide and gunked up. For shtf, I dont trust it, for range only, it will be perfect.
Picked up my P226 Pro Cut for $850 and have been extremely happy with it. Quickly has become one of my favorite guns along with my Staccato C2. The slide to frame fitment and smooth action competes with my Staccato. What made it better was changing out the trigger to an armory craft slightly curved trigger. I also changed out the springs and now have a 7.5 lb double action and 3 lb single action trigger. I run it great with irons at 25 yards and will throw on a red dot soon. This has become my nightstand gun.
Man, that is a steal for $850. Considerably more down in the gunshine state. Can't go wrong with the Staccto. Thanks for the comment.
Your gun is a beauty. I have the p226 and the p229 and I love them both, but I ccw the p229 and recently changed my nitron color slide to the legion pro-cut slide it came with a heavy price but it had the red dot cut out for the Romeo1 pro. Those cut out at the barrel serves two purpose 1. it looks great 2. it will lighten the slide up when I put the red dot on that way my gun will cycle without having to mess with the different springs.
Hi, what mounting plate did you use for the red dot installation? Was it C&H?
You gt it, the C+H works perfectly
Great review, liked and subscribed. Considerating the P229 version for EDC. Thank you.
Thanks an welcome!
what is the Holosun version?
What adapter plate did you buy to get that Holosun to fit on the footprint that comes with the pro cut?
the C+H works perfectly
I might not have been paying attention, but I didn't hear you. Mention the short reset trigger. That is very nice.
That is true, I may have left that out but that is why it nice having you guys to remind me.
Was looking at the 229 pro as well.
229 is a sweet gun too. I think you would be happy with either tbh
Do you know if the pro cut has the same coat as the mk25 corrosion resistance, and rust resistance
What’s the difference between the pro cut and legion?
Not a whole lot, to be honest. Both have the g10 grips, srt trigger. The primary difference is the cuts in the slide of the pro cut.
Slide release is a tad smaller on the legion
With the right belt and holster it can be carried aiwb comfortably. That's how I carry mine.
What belt and holster do you use? I just picked up my legion and am overwhelmed with all of the holster options lol
My belt is a Nexbelt. My holster is nothing special, I believe I got it from Amazon.
Man I was thinking about the p365 acg legion now your making my decision hard
This gun is sweeeet! I think you'll be happy with either though.
Man I’m getting this one it’s love at first sight
@@tacticaltrio3plus I’ll conceal carry this
Which holosun is that?
@@darkdre7 it's the 407c, sweet setup
I picked one up but haven’t taken it to the range yet. This and the CZ shadow 2 are the most comfortable pistols in hand. Ergonomically wonderful. I’m a large person so I like full size. My hands are like a monkey so the larger ones fit wonderfully 😂😂😂
Does this fit for p226 mk??
They're not "clips" they're magazines.
You'll be okay cup 🎂
Clips? CLIPS!? 🤬
If that triggers you, I'd seek immediate counseling.
‘Eckspecially’
What is your point cool guy?
