Honestly those same people struck my love for roleplay in general, wasn't too good at the VA part, my voice is a bit awkward, but it did lead to starting a channel although gameplay focused. Hope yours works out though!

it’s so good to hear you’re good and working on new things! jus as a general piece of advice for youtubers that return from a hiatus, i’d recommend not starting something new until you have the end figured out, this is prob sum you already know but i’ve seen many youtubers get burnt out immediately after returning due to having to come up w sum new instead of having it all prepared, but since you’re saying you’ve got a script almost done i’m assuming this wouldn’t apply to you
ALSO PLEASE don’t rely on nostalgia, i’ve seen too many youtubers try the exact same things they’ve done in the past and it’s either never the same or gets stale, reinvent yourself! even if it alienates your audience it’ll be worth it if you truly enjoy it!! nostalgia is a trap for preventing new ideas, don’t be afraid to change anything. some things are better left in the past 🙏🏽
anyways i would definitely say minecraft roleplays were my favorite, but specifically ones where its group orientated, yandere high school for example excelled at this and made me want to watch everyone’s pov because every character / person was really interesting and the storyline in general had me invested, i’ve never really been a fan of mundane roleplays tbh but i don’t remember you ever doing those, but any roleplay with a captivating story that unfolds every episode will have me hooked for longer than the first episode like the more chill roleplays other youtubers make, it doesn’t have to be insane or completely unrealistic tho obv! i would say my preferred length of videos is like 20-30 minutes, i love long videos but if i’m not completely interested it’ll probably be buried in my watch later for a while 😭 a let’s play would also be cool, i think having a main series and then other things like that on the side would be cool.
for other ideas, i’d definitely like to see some horror games, maybe a potential podcast too, versatility is key and since you said you like a lot of things i think it would be perfect to have a variety of videos even if its not minecraft! also, have you ever thought about streaming? i think you as a streamer would be really cool to see since there’s direct interaction and you really get to do whatever you want, we could see you react to videos or play horror games live or simply play a survival let’s play! actually, the more i write abt it the more i think its a good idea so please tell me if you’d ever be a streamer lol 😭

Omg yes I loved the group oriented mc rp. I loved their yandere highschool and Jurassic series the most because it gave me different perspective of the characters and I love the old school mc rp. Idk something about modern mc rp doesn't seemed interesting for me (ex. Aphmau's series).

Used to watch all the old RP stuff and I always loved it.
To be honest mostly watched the RP from other people’s perspective because I enjoyed you popping in and out at seemingly random places throughout the storyline. And then when I was done I would go and binge your POV to see everything from your perspective instead.
I hope you’re still doing what you love in your life and that you’ve gotten to meet some amazing people. Because believe me when I say this as I am not the only one, you were a really big part of many people’s lives during both ups and downs, always making people’s day just that little bit extra special.
Not sure if it’ll ever be the same again as it once was with all the Minecraft content as people generally speaking change interests as they get older. But if nothing else many will be watching out of nostalgia and you’re sure to get many new people joining as well. People who has yet to be influenced by you in any way. People whose lives you can continue to improve through nothing but you just doing what you do best.
Since you did ask, personally I do not watch TH-cam anymore and only use it for music. I mostly read or watch friend’s stream on twitch and maybe a TH-cam short here and there. Nothing much really.
Mostly because I don’t find the new things on TH-cam to be as entertaining as what you did back in the day. If it’s good enough I don’t mind even 7-8 hour videos. So quality is more important to me personally than time.

Nowadays, the videos I've always enjoyed are group videos, like your old school minecraft family. Your cops n robbers, yandere high-school, and all group videos where yall were just having fun are my favorite videos to watch on yt

And as a side note on videos that I've been watching lately just to give you an idea, I've been watching quite a few Minecraft SMP videos, and I've enjoyed seeing those people come up with stories and lore for their world and character's on the spot, it's always interesting, and i feel like it's something you can do amazing at
Another thing that I think you can benefit from are story-based anime inspired games, such as the Hoyoverse games, NieR Replicant and NieR Automata which I think you'll enjoy.

Aww man it was a range of emotions watching this till the end. I used to watch you when I was a LITTLE kid like no more than 10. I'm an adult now 😔😔. Time really files. I used to love watching your Cops and Robber, Terraria, TLOU, AOT, & Scribblenauts vids. You were one of those channels that had a huge impact on my childhood and I want to thank you for that. Over the past few years I've unsubscribed from a plethora of channels I don't watch anymore as a way to grow up and mature and what not and I would also see yours and skip past it. I wish I could check but I think you're one of my longest subscribed channels, it's actually insane. Don't worry about not being here on TH-cam dude, we're all here to support you no matter what and are thankful for all the memories and times you've given us. 🙏🙏
Sometimes I go back and rewatch your old stuff. It was a simpler time back then. A time when I didn’t have responsibilities and could just exist in my room. But then I grew up, and had to get a job. Just know that I will never truly grow out of revisiting old memories. I’m just glad you’re still out there.

What kind of content would your audience like I think the answer to that is both complex and simple we want to see your content to me you've always been authentic I loved Jurassic Craft I was always bubbly whenever I saw your videos because you made things so much fun the roleplays being my favourite that I am now gonna binge watch but if you have fun with what your making we will feel that and enjoy it
Writing is a painful process I know that firsthand my friend once told me the biggest critic of someones work is always the one who makes it they are always the most critical of it even when they release it they always think "I could've done that part better" or "I probably should've made that part different" my favourite part is whenever the criticism a writer makes about their own work to the audience suddenly the audience starts saying "but that was the best part" always funny for me

Hi, CarFlo I have watched your videos since the Comes Alive. You can do whatever you want with your videos like you can do let's play or roleplay. I want to suggest if that's okay with you, I think that you should do the mix of roleplays and let's play. Becuase You Comes Alive is a mix of Let's Play and Roleplay old classics it's one of the best same with your Jurassic Park/world it's one of the best series on your channel. I think that you should do something that you love. For a video, it should be 20-30 minutes because it is not long or short it's just right. I hope you have a great day and don't over work your self just have fun.

(Also i used to love watching your pixelmon series, maybe try to bring that back with the cobblemon mod instead? atleast until your done with the script?)
I'm sure you're getting a lot about this particular thing in your comments, but I also gotta say that I THRIVED on your content when I was growing up. You've definitely been an inspiration towards my love for writing and world building.
I particularly love long play videos, but short form seems to thrive better now-a-days (yknow, shortening of attention spans and all that, shorts apocalypse). I do think your roleplay content will still work in this enviornment, there's a lot of people starving for the kind of stories you used to post.

Great to hear you’re still doin’ stuff. I might be fanboying a little here but I used to love your old roleplay videos. They really helped me get through some tuff times in my childhood. It’s crazy how many references you used to put in your videos to stuff I like now.. (Tokyo ghoul, danganronpa, stuff like that) Plus they made me roleplay with myself (bc I had no friends) and all around you were a big part of my childhood :3

Hearing his voice makes me want to cry. But to answer your question, the videos you make or the videos I like, like hopes peak, and Jurassic craft videos like those are perfect
It's good to know you're doing well man. I remember watching your videos back to back for days. Funnily enough, I don't normally watch any series while they're airing. I normally wait until they're finished to binge them afterward but I always looked forward to your videos back in the day. We're all grown up now and for me personally, Minecraft videos aren't something I watch anymore but I still check in to see how my favorite childhood TH-camrs are doing from time to time :)
I think streaming or mixing up lets plays and scripted videos could be a good idea! You can do modded lets plays and add in scripted events or have an overarching plot play in the background unbeknownst to the viewers. I'm not sure how exactly that would play out but just an idea.

I usually watch shorter videos(?) like ~10-30mins when it’s a lets play of a fast-paced game, but i’m really fond of more open type games where you’re free to wander? Kinda like a podcast.
I might not speak for majority of your audience so take this with a grain of salt, but i’ve lately been enjoying roblox, scary games(e.g. parasocial, fears to fathom), chained together, terraria ect.
I think all in all though, you have been doing well just as you are. You are a good youtuber, and a good person to look up to even still after all this time. Don’t stress, love you dude.

Definitely long form of content personally! It's hard with short forms of content like youtube shorts because it'll just keep me scrolling and scrolling until I get tired. Roleplays or Let's Plays are still what im interested in due to nostalgia but also streams are something I'd be VERY down to watch :) You don't have to make content like your old series's, having a change in content too is refreshing and gets you to experience new stuff and for the viewers as well!
In games, I'd definitely want to see you play your favorite ones other than just minecraft. Stardew Valley, Sims, and Visual Novels are my type of thing, I'm open as well to other types of games such as horror, etc. I would absolutely DIE (positively) if you do streams about other games or even just random stuff, you are one of my favorite youtubers since I was young and hearing you once again just sent me into a state of happiness and just comfortability rn.
I'd say whatever you have in mind is definitely okay to do and just do what you want!! As viewers, we will still come back to watch our favorite content creators, hence why we're here. And be sure to take care of yourself Carlo ^^
Honestly, I always watch your videos because of your personality in Minecraft; it brings the game to life. So, watching any content you make will be wonderful even if they are just for groof. IDK if it's out of line, but maybe you can try being a Vtuber? Don't. You don't have to. I just think, it will be nice (This might add more stress lol).
Maybe you can even do story modes where the viewers choose which video to watch to make their path (does that make sense?). I think some other TH-camrs have done that and many have enjoyed it. A combination of scripted roleplay with the audience. I think it'll be fun. But at the same time, a Let's Play video sounds nice too.

Omg it’s great to see you again! I haven’t seen you since I was a little kid lol! 3:15 ig some things that would be cool to see is see you play some other games like Stardew Vally or a indie game and streaming seems like a good idea too! Minecraft is definitely always good too lol but it’s always good to try out new things in Minecraft. Another good thing for content is also just having your friends with you as it makes the videos more fun because you get more content from your friends and yourself while also having fun with them.

I still really love your "my friend is a creeper" series and I still watch it sometimes. I have been trying to find a way to get a mob talker script in game so I can play it. I also liked the "Spider Queen" series as well. Hope you get the script the way want it and thanks for keeping us updated

Seeing your name pop up in my recommended unlocked a memory from my childhood. My brother and I used to sit and watch Minecraft Family and a lot of the other old Minecraft videos. I was 9 years old. I'm now 21 and I'm about to graduate college. I didn't even know you still made videos.
As for your question: The best thing is to do what you love. As long as you are being authentic and yourself and having fun while doing it, people will gravitate towards that.

I loved the Jurassiccraft vids from WAY back, and the s2 MC family stuff. 2013 I snuck onto my mom's ipod and starting watching MC videos, you were the second channel I found. Love ya (platonically) dude, I can't wait for your next upload, you were literally my childhood and almost the sole reason I got into minecraft and attack on titan.

I adored your Jurassic craft and rp mixed with minecraft! I really enjoyed many of your normal series that you posted, as a young child it was always FUN, you know? It doesn’t have to be serious I loved when there were goofy and silly moments and that they seemed really fun!

I know I'm kinda late to this but better late than never. Growing up I've always loved your content and you were technically the role model for me growing since you're someone that inspired me and now I'm older and I kinda want to try and VA or do something similar. You're the reason I knew about Minecraft growing up and got into roleplays in the first place and I'm very thankful for it. I've missed watching your videos and to me it doesn't really matter what kinds of videos you make since I know I'll still enjoy them whether it be different games, vlogs, streams, etc. if you do decide to record some other games for fun I'd recommend the Persona series since it's a little fitting with Hopes peak. Also don't overthink and overwork yourself since I'd hate to see you burn out and everything. So for now I'll see you next time 🧡

Long videos of your lets plays, Roleplays are good, the longer it is the better it is, but if your not satisfied with the script, may we see a few bits of the script or make a video talking with script like a previews on a black screen if thats okay with you, Keep the good work up, you'll succeed. I think you should definitely record yourself doing story games! Things like the telltale games or the legend of Zelda. You know, just keep it casual, whatever you are into right now! We all just love seeing your interests and getting to know you as a person:)
Edit: I personally don’t care if the games you choose are years old, I don’t mind if it’s a replay. Horror games would even be fun! Maybe the sims 5 once it’s out or play the sims 4 again.

As much as I loved your Yandere, MFIAC (Original) and Hope's Peak, I'd love to see a co-op modded survival with you and garlian. Could have some bits with more "story", much like Jurassic craft, while mostly being you and garlian just having fun with some of the mods

I've been enjoying watching (and playing) some Xenoblade chronicles right now. As for videos, i enjoy 30-15+ minutes (sometimes 1 hour videos) i like to watch some walk/playthroughs (there is this new Minecraft mod called cobblemon) it's very great to hear from you :)
Im now in college... all I can remember was watching every single one of your videos when I was a kid. From Jurassic Craft to Yandere Highschool to Even Hope's Peak High. Such good memories, I suggest streaming live games if your actually up for that, maybe bring back old rp's and start doing lets plays on games such as horror, indie games etc. Its great to see you back after such a long time.

Honestly, I loved your videos the My Friend is a Creeper series was one of my favorites growing up I'm just a sucker for those types of stories. But at the end of the day if you can look at your work and be proud of it I would love to watch that instead. Be it different like showing people how to make their own RPs or using any mods you use like a mod showcase as long as you can be proud of your work that is all that matters.
