Not sure why HD cannot use their other engines (PA or vRod) for their current line up...however, still like my K1600 with it's 160 hp with absolutely no mods or tunes...like to see both at the drag strip...nice video Marine...
The answer is no…i had to retro all my Harley’s to dry primary with delcron case reinforcement…and when you step up the HP you should be swapin the oil pump drive gear too …no amount of balancing cancels the secondary forces so the oil pump drive gear starts to wear when the crank walks…Harley’s are awesome but they weren’t designed with “Big power “ in mind…true you can make them scream, but they wear out 3 times as fast and still can’t keep up with a stock MT09 😂
I'm not sure of the implication. Had H-D wanted to do liquid cooling sooner, they would have, but they knew customers would balk. The idea was to keep it as traditional as possible for as long as possible. Like many things with ICE, emissions reqs finally won out. However, you'll note how much the motor co is trying to conceal the radiator(s).
