Every step of the way I’m thinking “this is my fave part of BBB” … online shopping, collection, inspection, willy-waving 1st ride, JHS, game-on antics, race, hangovers, wrap-up/debate. Love it all. ❤

I liked the bit where Al described having functioning brakes and swapping a pogo stick for a functioning shock as "the best mods" 🤔🤣
I'm thinking about modding my bike at the weekend- I hear adding air to flat tyres is the best mod you can do 😜
      Love you really Al. #teamhrc

Really love the original paint scheme on your BBB Blade, I had a 1995 plate that someone had lowsided and proper knackered the fairings (It was an Urban Tiger as well) so got it cheap but had to 'renovate' it and decided to convert it into a streetfighter. I got 75,000 fully serviced miles out of it and it was still in great shape - I sold it in 2012 and miss it so much, the 16" front wheel was great fun with good tyres.

I have ridden the sc31 for some amount of kilometers early 2000 and now found a very nice example on auction with broken stator. Nobody wanted to bid on it as it was listed broken so I had to. Black and grey -97 and I still love the bike after 15 years of not driving one.
Broke my back in a racing accident and have not dared to ride after that. There is a risk If I have even a minor accident that I wont walk again. But riding again, it’s the best thing in the world you can do with pants on

I couldn't agree with you more. I've got a 1982 Honda VF 750 which I've updated the Suspension from 1982 to 2022 and the handling is like chalk and cheese ( it's about 300% better now ). I got the YSS shocks put on the back and stronger spring and thicker oil put in the front. I watched a you tube post about the difference between the YSS and the Olhins . The guy said for the amount of difference in performance and the cost the YSS are just as good a choice as the Ohlins.

These bikes are old enough to be cool again. Full disclosure: I am 50 and grew up with the new CBR900RR. There were a ton of cool bikes from that era that deserve to be rehabilitated and enjoyed. My first bike was a 1992 FZR600. It was hard-edged, cheap, and very fast. Bikes like this one, the GSXR-750, ZX11D, FZR1000, ZX750R, they were all great bikes. Sure, you can buy faster bikes right off the show room floor today but that doesn't mean these bikes are any less good. BTW I ride a Speed Twin on the street and an RC390 on the track. Wish I cold find a nice old CBR600F2 or something else cool to add to the stable.

I had the same bike with the same color from 1995. At the time it was the top of the tops. Over time, I changed. Filters, ignition advance, exhaust 600 supersport vance hines, spark plug wires, until you get to the point where there's nowhere else to move, but open the engine and lower compression rates. Then the fun stopped. The frame wasn't ready for so much speed. Or was it me who didn't have the nail kit for her... Always Honda.

My old rrt with stage 1 dyno and open pipe made 123 rw bhp. These all vary though by a surprising amount!

Dynos also can vary as well, so a healthy bike on an optimistic dyno can lead to a somewhat misleading higher figure.
