I guess I never did give you my name. I'm Lasse, but Lars is close enough I suppose! 😂 My trip continued through most of Europe for over 4 months and 30.000km further, after we met on the tunnel. Long story short; I had an incredible journey and gained many experiences along the way. All the way rocking the Permission to Torque sticker you gave me. I'm so excited to seeing how the rest of your trip went. You went much further into the Balkans than I managed. Also I can't imagine how much faff it must have been to film and manage the files... I had enough to do keeping a diary and tons of photos. So kudos for that.
So here we go! This series is a "no frills" diary of my trip - no drones or guffage etc. just chatting away and showing you the sights like its 2012 again 😂
Maybe this is a weird thing to say but it's such a relief to have some quality motorcycle related YT content these days. Capable rider who isn't trying to prove anything, a lovely bike, beautiful footage and audio, a fun tour, and great post production. It's the whole package, Chris.
Can not bloody wait to sit down with a beer and enjoy this once the kids are asleep!! Baron, your daily morning walk to combat depression advice has been excellent for me recently. Cheers!
Personally I find seeing the softer/ vulnerable side makes you relatable instead of seeing all these others on youtube that end up being fake. I think that's why people like you so much. Looking forward to the next episode
Well done Chris. I have suffered with depression for about the last 15 years. I haven’t really have anything in life to be depressed about, I’ve got a successful career, amazing, girlfriend, and beautiful children. My biggest enemy in life is myself. I really struggle to talk to people about it, so it’s really inspirational what you are doing, and the way you talk about your mental health. I’ve just got a bike again after six years and it really helps to clear my head. I’m loving the video diary and might look to do something very similar myself in the future.
When you got to the train and celebrated - I felt that. It was the culmination of putting your socks on and getting out the door, starting the bike and making it down the road. You did it.
This is exactly what I needed, old school BVG. Massive respect for talking about your mental health, thank you. I sincerely hope you're feeling better, Chris. Gonna binge the rest of the episodes now. Cheeeeers!
Chris everything you say in the intro proves your human mate and from following your channel from its earliest days a very nice chap to boot, good on you for having the guts to keep going this will definitely be a good watch I'm sure kind regards mate .
Can’t say I agree with all your views especially around COVID but I admire your bravery to bare all that’s a honesty few would be prepared to share. Having a daughter who suffers from mental health issues I know how paralysing it can be. Enjoyed the first video of your trip and looking foreword to the rest. I’ve ridden for years but ashamed to admit rarely ventured further afield than a coupe of hours from home I’m determined next summer to make a few longer trips.
I’ve got maximum respect for your openness and honesty Chris! Most people aren’t even honest with themselves, let alone others. Can’t wait to watch the services unfold
What a joy to watch Chris. Thanks for making this. It’s a true inspiration. As someone who also suffers from anxiety, I know the bravery that this took. Well bloody done mate!
Brilliant! Being a BvB follower since the early days of the “riding into London” faffery. It’s been great following your mental health recovery journey. Massive appreciation for you sharing and allowing all of us to be here with you!
Baron, can't thank you enough for the smiles, laughs and adventures you share. Your comment on Shania Twain on Radio 3 nearly made this Canuk piss himself laughing on the sofa.
@ˡᵉᵗ'ˢ ᵗᵃˡᵏ ᵒⁿ ᵗᵉˡᵉᵍʳᵃᵐ@Official_44Teeth Seasons greetings fellas. What's the big hoopla that I'm in danger of missing out on? Need a Canadian guest rider to join you in Portugal for the next superbike shootout??? Ummm, let me check my schedule.... sure. Why not?
Chris, You are a naturally very funny guy but you don’t realise it. You should be well proud of your videos, all aspects. Thank you for sharing your travels on a bike, not just any bike but a BMW1250GS TE.

This is beautiful. Plan on watching this whole series. I watched the GSXR 1000 series 10 years ago wishing I was old enough for a street bike. Now I've had six bikes, two currently and absolutely loving it. Thanks for the incredible inspiration over the years
Good work centurion, im struggling right now with my business and the pressure of trying to get everything done for everyone else. Always enjoy your open and humorous thoughts sir
Looking forward to the videos. I love your no BS attitude. And it sounds like you're suffering from some bad anxiety and depression. Finding a healthy release and a way to let go of the things that drag you down is a must. Sounds like you've got your walks to help you cope to a degree. Have you tried CBD? It was an absolute savior for me personally. I suffered a TBI and along with that came anxiety, depression, and the loss of joy from my life. For me swimming, cycling and gardening are my therapy. Pushing through the anxiety and realizing I've been through hard times before help me cope and calm down. Best of luck with the issues you're suffering from.
Did a similar solo trip last year. Great trip, I was out of my comfort zone most of the time, which is a strange way to travel when you think about it. Sometimes it was the greatest motorcycle moment of my life, the next I just wanted to teleport home. Eager to see the rest of your journey, I'm sure it will bring back some of my France to Romania memories.
I’ve found that anytime you can push through anxiety lessons it in the future and really makes you appreciate what you’ve achieved, unfortunately any time anxiety wins it seems to increase it’s hold, stay strong mate and make the most of the good days.👍
You were the first of my watching you tube motorcycle video heroes with your Barcelona trip. Now your back for a new run. I'm here for the whole trip!!!!! your leaving in the snow had me hooked. looks so much warmer this trip.

I suffer in exactly the same way, about concentrating on all the things I could have forgotten or may have lost etc etc. I can’t seem to stop doing it.
I did the same. But i think it was Chris who said in one of his older videos "as long you got your phone and wallet you can buy what you need". And i think of that everytime i go on tours and that seems to help
@@wl660 it's funny you mention that. We went off on a tour (greenlaning) to France from the UK a few yrs ago. This video has done more for my mental health than the NHS has ever done. Waiting for the winter to pass before getting to ride again in the spring destroys me at this time of year.
Big ups man! I also have Anxiety, Not nearly as bad as I had it before but its still there for me to live with. There are two things I really dont like are trains, and busses.
