In india poverty but not this kind of house of anyone ....really their is only work work and busy stressful life I think that's why its happens...house like this God bless them
Seriously! My neighbors two doors away are really nice people, and the man takes care of their friend's four-month-old baby boy while the mother is at work. But the condition of the apartment interior is absolutely appalling in its filth and clutter---and neither he, nor his live-in gf, nor the baby's mother, have any issue with how cluttered and dirty it is. Not "heaps of trash" dirty, but "floors are never swept and mopped" dirty (trash is thrown out multiple times daily, as most of us here do). Stuff is never picked up, just piled higher and higher. They also have two dogs---his old girl, a big black Lab (sweetest dog EVER!), and her weensy runt barking rat (Chihuahua)--and the dogs leave their black hair everywhere! Before anyone can say anything about how they "shouldn't" have animals, the dogs and the man's cat are VERY well taken care of (as is the baby, but he's not yet even crawling around in that mess), and are not the least bit neglected. It's just that the apartment has far more stuff and nonsense than is needed, but to look at the building from the outside, you'd never think such a mess was behind the door.
The Messenger of Allah Mohammed (May peace be upon him) as saying: Gabriel kept on commending the neighbor to me so that I thought he would make him an heir.
I have. Once moved into a house that was previously occupied by some drug addicted people. There were syringes in the top kitchen cupboard, and the toilet downstairs had been left 9 months since the last tenants had moved out. They hadn't flushed the toilet before leaving the house. A 9 month old shit in a toilet that looks exactly like these shows toilets
full credit to them for not getting annoyed with the craft lady, i would have lost it with her, why get the cleaners in if you’re gonna keep all the clutter
They are technically hoarders, but they could be people with horrible back pain, or horrible pain and they can’t throw things out so they tend to keep things in their houses. But she said it was hard to part with stuff so I’m not so sure.
The American version of this show, called Hoarders has therapists/psychologists on hand with the cleanup crew every step of the way to council with the homeowner and provide mental support and therapy.
I just discovered this show, and I am obsessed! I just love all of the cleaners. All of them are so caring and loving. They treat these poor people with such respect. Makes my heart feel good.
Nobody's issue but hers. As an artist myself, I understand the importance of wanting to keep various materials at hand for when inspiration strikes to do whichever art form I want to tackle. My little home is very organized and clean because that's how I want to live, but why she let things get out of control isn't for anyone outside herself to worry about.
I’m 12 I LOVE crafting and I don’t have an office or anything all I have Is the essentials for crafting glue gun glue paint and a box filled with CHRISTMAS STUFF hehehhe I am OBSESSED with Christmas lol
They should have worked on that crafty-woman to donate the bulk of her supplies to schools or charities who could really use it. Just keep the things that you can use within reason: one set of markers and a back-up, and the rest are donated to a school or scout group or children's home or other charity. Come on... let go.
Try to say the same to a rich guy with enough space. If you have a small home, it's called clutter. If the items are worth more on paper, it's a collection to be proud of.
I'd hate to have anyone come into my house and tell me that I "have to" get rid of XY and Z of my art supplies (yes, I'm an artist and crafter, albeit a neat and organized one). Nobody has the right to tell anyone else that they "should" get rid of things they will eventually use---and nobody understands the way an artist's mind works except another artist. She would benefit by putting all her things into speciality containers, but they're very expensive, so for now, she's doing the best she can by at least having everything in boxes.
You don’t get to tell people what to do with their things. They were her things and she clearly has an attachment. They are (excellent) cleaners, not therapists.
She needs a cupboard cleared and all the art supplies organised into specific boxes, if she has a huge excess then donate some. But they're hers. What she needs more than anything is a psychiatrist because hoarding is associated with several mental health conditions.
Because the way they clean it is opening up new space for them and also getting rid if things the hoarder doesn't need. Also when you clean the mess the person can see just how much they own and it can help them realise their problem. Everyone is different and its not their fault hoarding is a mental illness😔
bruh imagine the patience they've put into this. It just shows that they love what they are doing and are willing to help people with so much mess in their homes.
If they do that in 3 days...fair play to them. Everything hoarders own is just materialistic....it'll all go in the bin when they've passed away so why keep it!...i understand memorable stuff but leaves!! She's keeping leaves!! 🤷♀️
You say "i understand memorable stuff but leaves!" The problem with many hoarders is that EVERYTHING looks like memorable stuff to them even stupid leaves, they can't bring themselves to throw them away and would not let you do that either.
I wish Joyce would have left while Maxine and her daughter cleaned. To be honest, it seems they wasted their time. Unfortunately, those who have hoarding disorder need serious intervention beyond cleaning. I surely hope Joyce gets the help she needs.
I agree with you, they are never going to learn how to treat a home properly if they’re always going to have people coming in and cleaning up all their crap, it’s not bloody hard to keep a house clean especially when it looks like they don’t do f all on a day to day basis anyway. It’s disgusting the way that toilet has been left, if you’re capable of using a razor then you’re more than capable of putting some bleach down a toilet, makes me so angry that people do this and takes the piss. That woman should be removed from her home from the first story and that guy should never ever be allowed to set foot in that clean house again.
@Lesley Wynter A lot of the people on shows like this have depressing backstories. So yes it is a mental health thing. Hoarding is a mental health disorder most often triggered by severe depression.
“Creating Sacred Spaces with Feng Shui” Bahahahaha ! I can’t believe how hard I laughed at the shot of that book!! ❤️❤️ And Ashley might have better results if she wore her face mask properly lmfao
That one woman's name is Joyce---my name is Joyce---and she's 68, which I'll be in January. She's a crafter, as am I---but that's where the similarity ends, thankfully! Maxine and Jasmine could come into this tiny apartment, move everything that's in here, clean it, and put everything back, all in the space of about two hours. I don't own much, and what I do own, I keep well organized and clean in plastic bins (the crafting and drawing supplies, I mean). I want to be able to move around, do my drawing, crocheting and knitting without trying to figure out where in the world I put the needed art supplies! Not faulting that Joyce; I have no idea why she let things get out of control, and I don't want to know. I do wish there were cleaners here in the States like Maxine and Jasmine, though, who would and could come in and help with a deep clean. Surface cleaning is all fine and good, but homes need a really deep clean at least once a year.
Everyone does a little bit of hoarding. A good rule of thumb is that if you find something you've lived without for 10 months, out it goes. You'll be astonished how little you actually need.
Ten months??? Whose new "rule" is that?? It's always been the standard that if something isn't used at least once a year, it should go (otherwise, all the people who waste time on the man-made holidays would have to buy new decorations every year, which would be a stupid waste of money). I have suitcases that are used only for eight days one time a year---I'm not about to toss them out just because someone else, whom I neither know, nor want to know, dictates what he/she thinks is the norm.
@@jb6712 I think you should throw that Christmas tree out, tbh. It's so far up your ass I doubt you can take it out again. Maybe she could create a TH-cam channel so she could share her craft skills with an audience. That way she'd get through much of her craft materials.
I cleaned a hoarders house before, it was hard but gave such a great sense of achievement. I went back a week later and I don't know how or where this women found more stuff but the house was back how it started. Never been so disheartened. I've seen two people helping her clear out since then and both times it went straight back to how it was. She's recently been asking for my help but I know I can't help, clearing up won't fix her problem.
That's the thing, it's mental illness. You can help tidy or even clean the entire place but it won't stay in good shape unless *they* change and learn to care for their house.
I feel like this is my neighbours house, she’s not lived there for over 2 years and the gardens are an absolute disgrace, nice lovely moldy/moss covered mattress in the back garden and cobwebs all over the windows 🤢
Mental health issues, disabilities and chronic illnesses account for a lot of it. Also a lack of knowledge on how to clean can prevent someone from cleaning.
Awesome awesome job guys. I’m in new cleaner and I hope never to come across jobs like those. I know you guys are in the UK but what products did you all use can you list them
I don't think the old man is going to be allowed to come back to that house. He needs special care. The woman will probably fix it and sell it or rent it out.
These poor people. I cant imagine what must be going on in their heads to not be able to maintain a house for so long that it goes into that state. I hope they were also able to access some counseling or something as the reasons why they were hoarding or let it fall into disrepair would be still quite present.
Part of the difficulty is that everything is everywhere, no organization. The stuff in boxes should not have gone back in without sorting them, putting like things together so she could see how many things there are and what she needs of each. She's obviously has a hoarders disease and sadly she will just keep bringing in her arts and things and keep filling up the empty spaces. My wish for that lady is who lives in that flat is that she would get some kind of therapy bless her. And a lot of therapy, and that is just my opinion anyway. I so enjoy watching these videos because you absolutely give people not only their home back. But more importantly you help them get back to a better life than before. Blessings to you both and everything you do.
The houses are rented, individual units within a large block of row houses. No "extreme makeover"can be done, only the necessary work the property owners will have to do.
The smart thing to do with that art stuff would be to find a community studio, donate it and then arrange for her to visit and do her art work there. Gets her out of the house, would help the studio out and the stuff doesn't go to waste.
I prey for that cleaning company that they better give those ladies a VERY heavy amount of good ol christmas- and vacation money. And of course a very high hourly wage. They are so sweet and yet SO effective. DAMN THAT'S TRUE GIRL POWER
I watch "Hoarders" here in the USA & it seems mental illness& hoarding doesn't discriminate. Mental illness is REAL & ALIVE! I'm 3rd generation with depression, anxiety, panic attacks etc. My daughter& I have been getting help for the past 10 years. We choose to get better mentally daily Unfortunately, majority of my Family don't want Help. My therapist says they can only help those that want to be helped. Thank God none our hoarders cause would be even more challenging for them. Not Judging anybody sending lots of Love their way.

Hy there from Kenya☺
I bet they don't live like that in Kenya!!!!
Hello from tanzania
Hello there from the UK, London
Nope nope nope.
Can't imagine How lazy That woman is 🤦
I think she has mental health problems causing the hoarding and has given up. She's alone, even without pets, older and clearly has a hoarding issue.
That toilet really just needs to be replaced
60 gallons of sweat a year. wow who would've thought.
I don't know why I'm watching this, it's disgusting, but at the same time satisfying.
Now that these places are clean, they need some kind of Extreme Home Makeover UK edition.
3:58 i had no clue this was physically possible 🤯
Oh snap, 4:55 😂
The art house I give six months before it's piled back up just as high.
Just throw that toilet away! 🤢🤮
Problem is that it's filled with liquid (shit) so you can't disconnect it without spilling through that giant ass hole in the ground
I don’t understand how people can let it get that bad.
A lot of it is depression and untreated mental problems. They form unhealthy attachments to junk and don't always realize how bad it is.
I prey for that cleaning company that they better give those ladies a VERY heavy amount of good ol christmas- and vacation money. And of course a very high hourly wage. They are so sweet and yet SO effective. DAMN THAT'S TRUE GIRL POWER
I'd have no problem doing this job but only in. a fully enclosed suit with an air tank.
