You have no idea, how hard it is to even let strangers into your broken world and the mess you have been living in. THAT is the hardest part. Allan was surprisingly aware of the neglect of himself and his surroundings, but even he didn't see it for what it was, until the reveal. GREAT JOB with the cleaning and the unbiased approach to a problem, many more people have in this world.
I remember a teacher asking our class ,” who’s good in school here?” A few people raised there hands. Then he asked us, “who of you who didn’t raise there Hands has a clean desk?” Now none of us raised their Hands. He told us that the state your home or work-desk is in, that’s the state of your mind. So if it isn’t clean and organised so is your mind. These poor people in these videos really need help.

glad the guys were able to help out, I can sympathize with the older gentleman, although I'm only 53 now, back 7 years ago my dad died and i have no brother or sisters so i was forced to deal with the loss most alone, i tried really hard to get some assistance from my local mental health services clinic here in Canada, but they turned me down many times because they are bugged way down with homeless drug addicts constantly overdosing, so they had no time have no for grieving people who become deeply depressed and had thought of suicide, So ive been doing my best to focus on the positives much as I can, but to truly move on and get to work again i still need some help but as times goes on the health clinic keeps getting more and more druggies on their hands and i have no money for a private clinic...
I can't believe that carpet was blue!! I was amazed. I'd rather clean his home than the ones that have all the different kinds of poop. I think he'll keep it going as well. He's over a lot of his grieving and that will make the difference.
What an amazing duo! And how grateful the gentleman was for their help. Can I ask - do you have money to buy new bedding for example? Where does it come from?
Lovely people. I really love Maxine. When the clients move out, what happens to things like personal paperwork etc? Where does all that go? What a brilliant job on that carpet!!
I'll answer that for him, from an entirely personal perspective: I lost both of my dearly loved parents, my son, and my newborn baby girl, all within one year's time. My sister and her husband, and my brother and his wife, while knowing that I had suffered the greater loss among us, were also grieving heavily for our parents/in-laws (they were wonderful people, much loved by many in our city). I wasn't about to burden them by asking for help of any kind, even though such "simple" things as grocery shopping and laundry would have been sufficient, had they been able to offer it. The survivor often doesn't want to let others know how much they're hurting, and (we) tend to say that "everything's fine, I'm doing well," when in reality, the truth is exactly the opposite. It's been 14 years now since all the deaths in my family, but I'll never forget that extremely difficult time, and I hope I always show compassion to others who go through such a terrible time (and that did happen to three families over a two year period in my former city, and I was able to help them deal with the grief, though just one person died in each family, not four of them in one year).
I have watched a lot of cleaning shows, but the compassionate non-judging message this one sent brought me to tears. What lovely men!

Bless Alan's heart. As well as those men who helped him clean up his flat
I love this show coz im also a cleaner here in the Philippines and i got to kearn new ideas on deep cleaning
Good job! What a great job indeed i do loved it.. They don't just cleaned but they also turn the unit into bommm!!! What an amazing renovation❤❤❤❤
The sweetest cleaners I have ever seen. Wonsedul show I love seeing the end result
You can still see the pain in this man's eyes. This was the first step of getting his life back on track, I hope he will recover
I love how jovial these people are while doing this. Like they're cracking jokes, laughing, and generally having a good time while doing this, its great
I had housekeeping issues due to feelings of hopelessness and a neighbor left a nasty note on my door. I've since gotten it under control but the nastiness from the neighbor didn't help. I LOVE seeing people like this being helpful. 😊
Aww well done. Im glad he took that super difficult step himself.
These cleaners are some wonderful people.
I love this show. I wish it were easier to find new episodes in the US. Although they weren't featured in this episode, Maxine has got to be one of the nicest people on the show. All the cleaners are compassionate but I really like Maxine's attitude.
It's sad that they only did one series of it.I think the cleaners and the narrators are great. The programme pickers probably think there's not enough drama😫Try Life of grime too.
I really enjoy the positive attitude of all these extreme cleaners.
God Bless, hope they bought a new mattress for him and pillows
My heart goes out to him! Thanks lads for being so caring and a great job.
glad the guys were able to help out, I can sympathize with the older gentleman, although I'm only 53 now, back 7 years ago my dad died and i have no brother or sisters so i was forced to deal with the loss most alone, i tried really hard to get some assistance from my local mental health services clinic here in Canada, but they turned me down many times because they are bugged way down with homeless drug addicts constantly overdosing, so they had no time have no for grieving people who become deeply depressed and had thought of suicide, So ive been doing my best to focus on the positives much as I can, but to truly move on and get to work again i still need some help but as times goes on the health clinic keeps getting more and more druggies on their hands and i have no money for a private clinic...
Wow! That carpet turned out beautifully!
I can't believe that carpet was blue!! I was amazed. I'd rather clean his home than the ones that have all the different kinds of poop. I think he'll keep it going as well. He's over a lot of his grieving and that will make the difference.
What blessings they are. God bless you.
is it just me or is his bedroom absolutely huge? wish i had a bedroom that size and those windows are also big letting in daylight ! x
Huge bedroom and a closet size kitchen!
@@LS-gh9hl that's like my place, teeny tiny kitchen, but the other rooms are quite big!
This is beautifully and sensitively done
What an amazing duo! And how grateful the gentleman was for their help.
Can I ask - do you have money to buy new bedding for example? Where does it come from?
How great to see him in a clean place, I hope he will be happy.
So well done. Bless you both.
Great work👏👏
Everybody needs a helping hand✊✊
Lovely people. I really love Maxine. When the clients move out, what happens to things like personal paperwork etc? Where does all that go? What a brilliant job on that carpet!!
Bless these guys
N hope for the best n get into life for that person who lost his wife🙏
I just hope that the clients can keep up this good work and continue to live in a clean home.
Father and son did a smashing job cleaning the man's flat. I'm happy for him.
I don’t judge the person living like this, I am on the other hand judging the people in their lives. Can’t someone that loves them help??
Many, many elderly people have either no-one left alive or family who can't be bothered. (I work with the elderly).
Oh @@jb6712 I so much would like to give you a huge hug.
@@jb6712, i m so sorry to hear about such tragedy! I wish you to be strong!
I really want this episodes to be longer. They are really satisfying
Thanku for your loving kindness ♡
Great job for both of you. God bless you all!
These cleaners are all such lovely people
❤️🧡😇🙏God Bless to both of you.. Specially to the old man.
Fantastic Maxine en Jasmine and all the others❤️❤️
I hope all the best luck to this man and all of their customers.
Ill health, broken heartedness, death of loved ones and other tragedies always have something to do with it.
You can see the hope in his eyes for himself at the end.
