If we want to set it up so that we are tracking people who have viewed a certain product page in the last 30 days, but we want to exclude them for 60 days if they have purchased THAT particular product, can we set it up like this: 1. Page View > page_location contains "Product XYZ's product URL" AND 2. Permanently exclude Users when: Purchase > Event count > 0 in any 60-day period AND Product ID > contains "Product XYZ's product ID"

Thanks for creating these videos. They're really excellent. I just tried to create a custom audience in GA. I tried targeting users who have viewed a certain URL, and then excluding those who've visited a post-purchase URL. However, I then see the error message: 'Incomplete or invalid audience definition'. Having researched it, I don't think this combination would do what I intended anyway as the exclude option doesn't remove users from the list, it only determines whether they're added. Is there another way to exclude users once they make a purchase? Note, we don't yet have e-commerce tracking or transactions set up so we need to do it by URL.
Update: it worked when I started from scratch. I think it's because I saved the audience before adding the exclude filter. From Google: 'If you save an audience without an Exclude filter, you cannot subsequently edit the definition to add an Exclude filter.' So my question is, will users be removed once they hit the post-purchase URL or will the exclude filter only determine whether they're added?
In GA4 users will be reevaluated, while in Universal Analytics they won’t. This means that in GA4 people can be included on a list and then later excluded. Here are some more details - support.google.com/analytics/answer/9267572

In GA4 admin setting, it shows google ads is connected. Thus, I have no idea why google ads audience manager can show the remarketing list that created in GA4 but with no data / 0. hope you can understand my poor writing and look forward to your help.
