I'm glad Unfiltered is back. It would be really cool if we had a post race episode. Have a up close look at the worn brakes, suspension components, engine, transmissions and body panels. Have a before and after images to show the level of carnage these car through in a multi-hour endurance race.
Gorgeous car, I won't be happy until we have at least two of it on the grid. Classy marque, always beloved.
It's looking highly likely that next season there'll be two full season entries from Lambo, Caddy and Isotta

This car seriously has potential, remember at 12 Hours of Sebring when the sun goes down, it leads the GTP packs for a pretty long time even though it got out lapped and there's traffic too. And a big shout out to all the drivers for excellent drive and not making a mistake so far 💪👏

It's amazing how many interesting manufacturers and brands are investing in WEC, growing in attention and care for the sport. Makes an interesting contrast with the state in F1 in which they are not accepting new manufacturers and getting stagnant and boring year after year.
It's always the same. F1 and sports cars go through cycles of who's most interesting. F1 usually grinds it out but I think this time Sports cars will have the edge for a while
F1 makes good decision to rejects Andretti. im happy they will be ready and prepared for 2028. (Rather than being backmarker with Renault/Alpine power unit 💀)

This car does look like a Lambo. Lamborghini has the advantage of most cars being very aerodynamic, and so they don't need to change too much of their identity to build a race car like this one. A brand like, say, BMW or even Mercedes really need to drop a big part of their identity to build a car like this.

In both Imsa and Wec the Lambo doesn't look great. Although considering the amount of hypercars on the grid I don't blame it.
it is literally brand new. It will take them a season to get acclimated to the vehicle.

In IMSA is door hatch caused one or two longer pit stops. Otherwise they would have performed better. Don't have the BoP charts at hand to properly judge if they had an unfair disadvantage in WEC compared to Alpine the way Isotta Frascini was disadvantaged by the ACO.
@@KAMiKAZOWLambo had a more favorable BoP compared to Alpine at Qatar.
@@namesii1880 I looked up the Qatar numbers. Alpine was 29kg heavier than Lambo but Alpine also had 8kw higher power output. Energy per stint for Alpine was 909 Megajoule and 895 Megajoule for Lambo.

This is what F1's drive to survive does to a racing series. The WEC is just taking a page from F1's notebook by focusing on the drivers rather than the car itself. Which is weird considering that sportscar is by nature more centered around cars/brands than drivers or individuals.
