SO CUTE. I'm thinking about getting one myself, but my girlfriend is worried it might hurt our other animals, (2 cats, 1 medium sized dog). Has yours always been good with other pets? Any tips for a 1st time owner?

From breeder in Indiana. Babies need to leave first week of life. Don't buy male or adult. It's really not easy. You have to bottle feed for a year plus feed. But they just stand as giving bottle. They slide on floors that aren't carpet. They don't drink much water. Even after nursing they are little but pee like a horse. It smells. If do have carpet they like to pee on anythi g soft. Lol. I potty trained mine to litter box. Had privacy fence where could go out and play. If not they'll pace and drive ya nuts. Males grow antlers and can be aggressive. Muntjac are also known as barking deer. Lol once that starts. Omg lol. I had hardwood floors and put carpet runners down so she could get around house. If allowed in bedroom she'll jump on bed and run around in circles on it. Really funny. But stop it before urge to pee on it. :). Mine liked car rides. But little distracting if jumps from back seat to front seat. Lol. If you know their nature and work with that it'll be fine and they are very sweet. If you try to ever pick them up, those feet kick like rocks. So let them come to you. They will. Can bribe with potato chips. :) not suggested for kids.....
ps. ck with your state for requirements. ours has been microchipped and ck'd for brucellosis and is state certified. The breeder should also make sure their herd is ck'd routinely.
you can go on exoticpets but be careful of scammers wanting to mail the babys too you. They are ready soon after birth and that is when you get them in person, so see the facility. Also breeders don't tell you everything about them and they are not for small children etc. IT takes alot of work to potty train them etc. they are very smart but you really have to dedicate the time in the young days. also for their outside time you need a high fence. good luck
