Both of these guys I love so much. Lee for Boo before Jason and Jason because he is just amazing. Regardless of how they split they mad amazing music and I love the previous material and what they did together.

So apparently Lee wrote and performed the first half of the solo in Dissimulation. All I want to know is...how? Doesn't it sound like Jason? And not super produced like all of Lee's guitar parts are?
At first I got the feeling that when Jason came into born of Osiris he brought in up speed gnarly shreds and pushed the band a little forward but then when later lee was talking about how he listens to more stuff with actual feeling and emotion and that raises my respect for him a lot more. Btw anyone know the name of the musician lee and the girl were talking about? It's like Geoff govina? Godfrey or something??
People are fucking weird. Jason Richardson was only in the band for the discovery. He didn’t even work on any other album. It sounds like people want to fixate on one project over a band overall. They fixate on fast guitar solos. I think the band overall has made a great discography of themselves and I continue to listen to all their albums to this day regardless if Richardson is on it or not.
Most don't know this but Annie has a channel. I think it's called AnnieShred or something like that. She also has a really great vocal cover of "Buttersnips" by Periphery.

He is just as phenomenal and has been in the band longer to contribute, and the bassist David. He locks in with the drummer and doubles on the guitar players, amazing bassist, amazing guitarists, and a phenomenal band!
he was not kicked out of BOO he went to CG to fill in since there guitarist left and Jason decided to stay with CG since BOO had decided to keep touring without him. it wasent a hard feeling it kinda just happened
It's interesting to know that the parts I don't dig in their new album were written by Cameron. I stlil think the guy is sick, but I want Jason and Lee to compose :)
I sometimes wonder if Jason ever called out Lee on not being prepared to do the harmony to the Follow The Signs solo and that lead to some differences that eventually caused BOO to kick Jason out. Nobody really knows BOO's side of the story and Jason was clearly kept in the dark and his firing was very nondescript and impersonal. I wouldn't be surprised. Jason was taking the guitar work for BOO in a direction that Lee simply couldn't keep up with and Lee being an original member of the band and probably having hella ego about his role as a guitarist probably caused him to want to cut Jason out of the picture and pursue the sole guitar position. It was probably turning into a cockfight between those two and I'm sure it didn't help that Jason was younger and the much more talented of the two. Hate to say I saw it coming, but I saw it coming.
Haha I'm just seeing this comment. Too bad the part of the doc that addressed BOO was so brief and nothing was said that hasn't been revealed before. Actually, Jason was really passive saying that he "complained too much" almost as if he was taking the full blame for being kicked out haha. Oh well, we may never know everything that went down. All we know is BOO parties hard and Jason is a dedicated musician that will always put his playing and creation first and clearly, those two lifestyles didn't mesh well.
I think the next time I want to play a drinking game I'm going to play this video and drink to every time she says "like" haha I'm going to be waisted :D
