Heyo Everyone, hope you all enjoyed this video. Like i said in my update video, i will be doing some non-pixar videos next up, soo look forward to those. Have you played this game? And what do you think of monsters inc as a movie?? Let me know here >:3
@shortshaker9236 he will do It later, besides the ps2 game is nowhere near as talked about as scream team for ps1 and 2 and pc(there aren't even that many reviews of this game online)
One of the creators of this game, Steve Goss, showed a presentation of his game career in my University this morning (UK time). He said this isn't a game he's particularly proud of; it was done in less than a year, and he called it awful. Nonetheless, he respects it for being his first job in making games in the USA, and that's what counts in the end.
only Monsters Inc game I played growing up was a PC game called Scream Team Training (not to be confused with the console game Scream Team), it was a minigame collection that felt like you were working many jobs at Monsters Inc and you really feel like a trainee even if it was a Windows 95 game, and completing each level rewarded you with employee of the day to employee of the month to employee of the year and maybe some other bonuses I forget, 30 levels per minigame and there were several minigames, save files were of several background characters
I kid you not I literally woke up today and out of the blue a long forgotten memory came back to me about my single interaction with the prequel game that was mentioned Seeing this video pop up on my subscriptions is the most surreal experience ever, Perfect timing!
(This is Sir Dallonious, btw. I'm on my music channel) This was a great review! I'm actually low key interested in picking this game up at some point. Haha I didn't even know it existed until now. Awesome video and the pacing was great!
Monsters, Inc. is definitely my favorite Pixar movie and I do remember playing this game when I was little and I also played Scream Team and GBA game of Monsters, Inc.
Funny story: One of the tutorial prompts tells you to “Watch out for Mike.” Because he gives hints on where to go. My dumb, child brain saw it said “Watch out” and thought, “Oh. So if I don’t talk to Mike, I’ll unlock a secret at the end of the game.”
I'm surprised there isn't a full on compilation on the "voice over" differences between these cut scenes and the movie. I'm glad this wasn't a Mandela effect so thank you for briefly covering it!!!
I love the entire Lilo & Stitch franchise from the 4 movies to the 3 TV shows to the short film of Stitch's Origin to the japanese tv intros to the High School Musical short, and nowadays I'm gonna emulate several videogames, and Aladdin (animated classic) I loved the trilogy, yes, there's a trilogy, Aladdin, Aladdin And The Return Of Jafar, and Aladdin And The King Of Thieves, loved the last one as my favourite of the 3
Monsters Inc is one of the best Pixar movies ever made, and Disney for that matter. I love the KH3 world, and fondly remember the PS2 and GameCube games. It’s a beloved series.
Scare Island released in most of Europe not just the UK, the subtitle is just different in each region. It's basically just a remaster of Scream Team for the PS1, same music, same levels, just the textures and lighting are different. FMVs are higher quality too. The US "version" which to be fair is an entirely different game does look like a mess though, I don't know why Sony didn't just trash it, localized Scare Island instead and called it a day like they did for Treasure Island. There was also a PC version but it was the PS1 release not the remaster.
Nice video, I heard about that game a while back so I tried to emulate it, but I tested it with mk Shaolin monks and work poorly with extreme slowdowns, too bad I can’t try it without slowdowns getting the way

When are you going to review Monsters Inc Scream Team aka Scare Island on PSOne?
When are you going to review Monsters inc Scream Team for PSOne & are also going to talk about the European PS2 version of the game?

@@shortshaker9236he did now
This was the first game I owned on PS2! I liked running around the scare floor and apartment levels and pretending Sully was just living his life.

Yoo, that's actually really cool!!!
That's cool

Thank you 😊
As someone who played the game on actual hardware to completion...yes, the framerate's also choppy there too.
the Monsters Inc movie is also a high one on my list for Pixar movies along with Up and the Cars movies and the Toy Story movies
Monsters, Inc. is definitely my favorite Pixar movie and I do remember playing this game when I was little and I also played Scream Team and GBA game of Monsters, Inc.
Monsters university was such a let down, feel like Pixar hasn’t done a good sequel since toy story 2
@@bruhdon4748what about monsters at work?

I've played Monsters Inc Scream Team for the ps1 and it was my childhood game. And also I loved the movie.
Probably the reason why Sully was only playable is because the movie mostly focused on him than Mike.
Nice video! Had no idea this game existed and the fan project sounds cool!
I agree Monsters, Inc. Is my favorite Pixar movie too
Seeing this game after growing up with Scare Island and thinking it was the only Monsters Inc game feels like a weird fever dream.
1:43 Such an underrated meme.

Even if the game was rushed, you’d think having BOTH main characters playable would be seen as a top priority

There was also a Game Boy Color game that does follow the movie
I might get this game for Christmas for my ps2

Hey, VHS 📼 👍🏻 cool man. Never played this game though
Project2319 definitely sounds promising, glad someone at least likes this game enough for that
that become FMVs on ps2 were DVD ROM
The guy who played evil guy passed away In 2001
monster inc is my favorite pixar movie
The Toy Story 2 buzz Lightyear game had the same weird dubbing. I guess it was cheaper to get less right to the entire movie.
"The PS2 version of Scare Island was only released in the UK."
That's false. The PS2 version of Scare Island was also released in France.
He meant European territories.
This is the only Pixar game I've NEVER heard of or played. It looks terrible, lol. The game is straight up not done. Those animations.... damn.
You have heard of Ratatouille food frenzy on ds?
We do not talk about Ratatouille Food Frenzy on the DS.
Can You The Gameboy Version The Soundtrack Is Damn Good
A movie about adrenochrome 😊 but great movie/game
😯
Ps1 version was better
