    The V.E. test is the separator that lets you go own the right path to repair the vehicle!

    It would be nice to see the Escan on mode 6. Would be functional on all makes?

    This is just Bernie and his 40+ years experience along with the use of the tool he helped to develop. Using this tool alone, the average person would never come to the same conclusion in this scenario.

    Wish my Subaru was this easy
    New oe sensor fault at one year
    Put a junk yard 10 year old oem
    Worked like a charm but when I wiggle it. It’s changes idle.
    Possibly the pins lost there form from being taken on and off so many time 🤷‍♂️

    Definitely fixed the issue, not saying he didnt but he should of addressed the air filter at least check it and i would never just clean a maf sensor without cleaning the throttle body as well. And check your fuel trims when done. Thats a way more legit fix and would cost barely anymore money. Just saying...

    so is the volumetric efficiency test built into the scanner?? for all engines or just chevy

      all except turbocharged and hybrid vehicles

    where i get a little confused you said map working correctly but you were going to take out and clean. what made you clean if it was working. i would have thought you would have seen some sorta problem in data to give you a reason to remove and clean.

      Its still doing its job and sending a valid/proper signal...but it is physically contaminated and cannot sense the correct amount of airflow, so it is misreporting to the computer. Then the computer makes an incorrect decision on the fuel amount

      I think in the VERBAL , he said MAF . It was picked up on the screen TEXT as MAP . I don't believe a MAP sensor was mentioned . You are correct . All the connections are working and a signal is being reported to the PCM . Circuit integrity passes . But with the dirty MAF sensor , the reported amount of air is incorrect . Clean and retest . Great tool and a real time saver .

      MAF by grams per second determines the injection pulse so after he clean the sensor the injectors work properly so this cars runs normal
