Casting Benedict Wong as Yoko was a stroke of genius.
I pissed my pants once I saw his face.
Truly amazing.
It WAS Benedict Wong!
@@aramanon they’re really good friends and used to be housemates
He has spirit this one!!
0:45 Benedict Wong as Yoko Ono wins for me 🤣🤣🤣
It's uncanny!
You sure he doesn't play her in real life?
Wait... that's Benedict wong?!
@Dan Gee Yes.
Wow, he was so skinny back then
1 minute 30 seconds in and I'm already considering him the most underrated impressionist ever.
Agreed
But he's not underrated.
He did a terrible job with Trump though.
Very talented but he needs someone to write him some good material because although all of his impressions were on point their was a definite lack of funny lines
1 minute 30 seconds in and I switched off. His impressions are ok but there’s much better and the comedy is shit
"An actor's face should be a blank canvas, and now mine is."
I thought it was Matt Berry at first! Sounded just like him.
His Alan Alda and John Cleese impressions are so good, if I heard them on a radio show you wouldn’t be able to convince me they weren’t the genuine article
And the Kevin Spacey
The Beatles killed me. It reminds me of the recent Beatles documentary. That’s probably the best Lennon impersonation. He really captures his contrarian attitude. Even the shouting is dead on.
George H W Bush (Bush senior) impression would be good...of him plotting how the CIA were to kill John Lennon witih two gunmen.
@@mogadon7i didnt know i liked bush sr that much
Peter's impersonation of Kevin Spacey is downright chilling and brilliant! I'm glad I found his show on youtube today.
That was one of the few good ones he had.
@@skipads5141 Nice joke
It was stunning
*_mechanical_*
His impression of Jeremy Clarkson was terrifyingly accurate
Best impression *in the world*
I actually thought that was his poorest one.
@@thejamminator But the voice is nigh identical
@@adamfrisk9679 Not for me.
@@thejamminator Me too. I'm astonished that anyone can think that it was even close.
The little things like Robert De Niro's breathing are such good observations.
holnrew LMFAO
His John Cleese is uncanny.
It's borderline creepy, but in the best way.
It was -- as was his Attenborough
His Alda was perfect, too... Didn't know he had that up his sleeve.
‘Stop messing around with your phone and get in!’ 😂
Yes, of course, dear
This dude is REALLY good with his voice. His Attenborough impersonation was a very big WOW moment. Absolutely brilliant.
I seriously thought it was Attenborough! Even though I knew what I was watching :'D
His Attenborough was outstanding
Helps that you don't see him.
Peter's Alan Alda is eerily brilliant.
Jeff Stone finally someone to rival bill hader
I was thinking the same... Then his John Cleese kicked in...
@@parkerjackson4880 bill hader and him actually do a lot of the same impressions
Lee Ruhlman yeah al pachino is another amazing one
Go watch Bill haders lol
Something about two Basil Fawlty impersonators arguing with each other makes me very happy.
"why yes madam I am in fact frightfully tall" ahahahaha
I know your comment was from a while ago, but I particularly liked the fact that one of them is Michael Palin, an actual monty python 😂. I had to rewind because I was staring at Peter's impression ✌
@@nathanway4138 I don't think it is, looks a bit like him tho.
@@animaltvi9515 a bit! It totally looks like Michael Palin. I've searched and searched for a credit and can't find one so you might be right it might not be him, but I think it is 🤔
I couldn’t stop laughing at just that.
Definitely the most talented impressionist around. Love his incoherent Stallone, and cracked up when you see his Al Pacino is Peter kneeling on a pair of shoes.
There's also this insane bit where the Al Pacino character talks about a pet ant he had as a kid, an ant which eventually got cancer and died, and that's how he makes himself emotional when he's acting in a movie scene. It's mental and I love it.
@@thesprawl2361 LIMPYYYY!!!
That would be Bill Hader, but Peter is a very close second.
Some, like the Beatles, were worse than a local talent show.
@@skipads5141 The Beatles ones were great. Think about how difficult it is, and how nuanced it has to be. He is a Scouser doing an impression of other Scousers, who each have slightly different variations of a Liverpool accent that have been watered down with international travel. It's hard to do and he got it spot on. Most people really don't have any idea what the Beatles actually sound like, they just hear 'generic Liverpool accent' in their head. So when they hear an accurate impression it probably sounds off.
"The movie is a carefully calculated assault of surrealistic imagery designed to provoke the condition of diarrhea."
David Lynch weakest impression imo
@@AzkuulaKtaktu Yeah the tone of voice was completely off
@@AzkuulaKtaktu But spot on description of his films.
What he said was great, but he sounds nothing like him whatsoever.
I thought "That's a great Al Pacino" and then the camera panned out and I lost my shit laughing
Haha, same
😂
Its the little things...
He got the ridiculous dye-job down.
Well Jimmy, I don't think that's any of your business.

Finally a De Niro impression that's not someone pulling their face back and doing the "talking to me" schtick
The way he contorts his face to mimic the person he is impersonating is incredible. Unbelievably skilled.
The Brando, Lucas no neck touch was hilarious.
The imagine/Beatles one was amazing especially since he's singing
No, he was nothing like him
Hedy Lamar troll
I’m so impressed that he even adds in the mannerisms and gets the voice pretty well
i've always said that anyone could do what the beatles did
Hedy Lamar spot on
Extremely talented man... doing impressions is not even "his thing", is it? Yet he's better than 99% of them.
He seems to have lots of "things."
He’s criminally underrated. The Peter Serafinowicz Show was incredible.
His one of a kind impressions no one else can do.
Like kubrick in a way.
Just not everyone notices.
But undeniable talent and vision.
The Alan Alda impression is exceptionally good (...And that’s STILL not all!) His ‘Chris Tarrant’ at 03:13: he absolutely nails the nasalised phonation of “POUNDS”. Very very impressive.
His Kevin Spacey impression is spot on.
Like, exact. Shut your eyes and you can't tell.
Why did you lie to me...(
@@tourzrap Sounds exactly like him to me.
Too much so, to the point if feeling rather uncomfortable.
the basil fawlty one I cant tell the difference if i close my eyes
Doesn't just do the voice and expressions but somehow captures the entire essence of each person...just wow
God his Kevin Spacey is terrifying. Lol! Had to love his Nazi Leonard Rossiter too.
Every time I see Ralph Fiennes, Indtart laughing. It annoys my wife as he's obviously in Harry Potter, but I burst out laughing in a cinema when I saw him as M in James Bond.
Is the Kevin Spacey one the one near the start where it looks like he's tearing that guy a new one, but he's talking about auditioning?
@@Beestification ye
@@henkdetenk3480 I thought so. So sick!
Thanks
Yep
He is uncomfortably good at these
I first met Peter when we were about 15 through a mate at school. He was funny AF even back then
Serafinowicz just might go down as the most underappreciated actor of recent years, and quite frankly, that is criminal. So many wonderful characters in so many movies, which are just a part of this man's repertoire and capability. I first noticed him as Tex at the petrol station in I'm Alan Partridge back in 2002. Memorable and scene-stealing even then!
Nice to meet you Colin
sean of the dead
The Tick
definitely underappreciated, he was the original voice of Darth Maul and isnt even in the credits of Episode 1.
I hear he does a good Darth Maul😆
Paul Osborne “What?!?”
Lol
No he doesn't
@@hedylamar1668 he is literally the voice of darth maul in phantom menace you sperg
@@hedylamar1668 Lol.... He IS Darth Maul.
David Attenborough was dead-on.
That clarkson one. He could step in on an episode and no one would notice.
not quite but pretty close to perfect
That one was uncanny. They're all brilliant to be fair. The Kevin Spacey one's brilliant, Simon Cowell, etc.
The slight quaver in his voice was the masterstroke
I think you must all be watching something else. Not only is he trying to hard but he is not actually funny.
the alan alda one was amazing
How was that even possible?!
Using the same voice he could also do Howard Stern.
I lost it on that one... fucking brilliant.
Pacino short legs was awesome too
No, he was nothing like him
The Beatles having a discussion about going to the toilet is hilarious.
It is absolutely criminal that this man is so underrated. Every single impression he does is completely spot on. I've never seen someone do so many consistently good impressions, even master impressionists have a few they're bad at, but Peter does them all flawlessly.
Not David Lynch. It pretty much sounds nothing like him.
I don't know if I've just watched the same video as you, mate. I don't think any were accurate and some were embarrassing. Ringo and Clarkson in particular were nowhere near.
@@Misteryowl Must have some keen local insight on the Scouse and West Riding accents the rest of us don't have.
Some are absolutely accurate and others I could do better myself unless they are intentionally bad. Basil Fawlty I can't tell the difference.
@@aaronleverton4221 Yes. They're way off.

you dont waste your long winter nights, do you?
@@andyharris1802 Yes CJ, I was hoping someone got it.
NOT RALPH FIENNES! It's Leonard Rossiter.
@enlightenmentforfree It's Reggie Perrin on the phone to CJ
“EUH~ MEIN GOT!” The several layers of acting he put into that is both amazing and hilarious.
Leonard Rossiter as Ralph Fiennes as Amon Goeth?
Basil Fawlty, Spacey, Pacino, DeNiro, Hopkins and Alan Alda: spot on. Brando, accurate in more ways that I care to admit. Also love seeing Bronagh Gallager, Catherine Shepherd, Benedict Wong and Matt Berry, brilliant in their own right. Ever tried doing Matt himself? That would be riotous for a skit with him in it.
Matt and Peter impersonating each other in the same skit would be hilarious
Failing to mention Mccartney is criminal
Pacino was his weakest imo, pacino has a southern drawl thats hes missing
Holy crap how have i never heard of Serafinowicz before i just knew him from Shaun Of The Dead, every single one of these impression where spot on.
Oh, that's really poor. For shame.
Pete?... Pete? OI PRICK!... He's not in
Because you are not particularly discerning. He is not great.
Jesus I didn’t know he was so good at so many impressions!!
He did "Look Around You", the spoof schools science series
Great. Now I'm wanting an alternate reality where Matt Berry played a Columbo villain, preferably in a house with lurid pink walls, red carpeting, a collection of bizarre wigs, accompanied by a dynamic go-getter, a genius, and a man from Ireland.
Michael Cane saying "shot" was perfect.
Alan Alda was the best, but Michael Caine was also dead on.
It is very good but it's the only one I've seen. Obviously, I know you mean it's his best impression and not that he's the best Alan Alda impersonator, which is something he could be!

The John Cleese sex tape bit might be the funniest thing I've seen all year. He absolutely nails it, to the point where I thought it was real.
00:46 Benedict Wong! Hahaha.
I never noticed that. That's awesome!
Great actor. 15 Storeys High was brilliant. And his performance in that one episode of The IT Crowd was possibly my favourite in the entire series... along with Matt Berry.
I'd seen him in Peter's "Acting Masterclass" videos but this is great.
No, he was nothing like him
It is! 😂😂
He has Peter Falk (Columbo) down so well, from the voice to the walk, and the facial expressions.
Omg that Beatles rooftop concert is so spot on. Even got the clothes perfectly.
Lol the Kevin Spacey one was so funny😂😂😂
The argument about the toilet is the most hilarious sketch I have seen in my 41 years 🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂and also he nails Lennon's voice.
My problem with a lot of impressionists is a lot of the time I can still hear their voice underneath it but a lot of these are fucking spot on.
No wonder he's so good in The Tick. He can do anything.
He cannot do anyone he is useless
Too bad no Season 3... sad days we live in.
I’ve loved impersonators since the 1970s but Peter’s ‘David Attenborough’ is in another league - unbelievable.
You sure that wasn't actually him
@@brianlaudrupchannel impossible to tell from that clip but agreed, it’s scarily accurate.
3:24 Jesus Christ, that’s not David Attenborough??
I thought the same thing
0:19 Peter Serafinowicz doing a Kevin Spacey impression doing a Nick Cage impression. Amazing!
Just as an aside, the cinematography and colour grading for the Star Wars scene is spot on
I love that Michael Caine impression.
Damn, I was a fan of Peter Serafinowicz before, but that is pretty amazing. So damn spot on 99% of the time.
I love how Peter takes some more seriously and absolutely nails them, and does others deliberately off for a different kind of giggle. Not many can do both impersonations and impressions, but this guy does both brilliantly!💖
That Rigsby ''oh my God' is something else
Omg I didn’t know he had this in him. Such a fan.
His Marlon Brando was so good it even included half a Gerard Depardieu impression
His Simon cowell is the best I’ve ever heard.
Love the smug smile after he calls him a cunt as well. Hahaha! It's spot on.
I actually thought it was Simon Cowell.
That Simon Cowell is SPOT ON! How are more people talking about it?
The Michael Caine acting class is genius.
"I was the best one in the Beatles. So glad I'm not Paul.
What did you think?"
Keaton Smith Paul was the best. Love Lennon, but he was overrated in comparison. Released plenty of self-proclaimed garbage. A bit sanctimonious at times. Plus, Paul brought many of his song ideas to life
He looks and sounds EXACTLY like McCartney at the end there. Amazing
his Alan Alda is amazing
Leonard Rossiter absolutely bang on
I'm floored. Every single one of these impressions are incredible. I haven't seen this wide an amount of perfect voices since Jim Meskimen.
So underrated! I’m glad he’s done so well in Hollywood
His mcartney is good but fucking hell that lennon at 9:25 was frighteningly accurate!
His Australian accent is superb. No one can ever do Australian accents, particularly Americans, but often Brits too, they make it too broad and it comes off sounding like a mutant New Zealand accent. PS has a skill with voice patterns that is exceptional.
I have to agree. It was flawless! Very few people can mimic an Aussie accent without sounding weird to us lol
The Irony is that the Australian accent evolved from a collection of British accents
Was 1:16 a Kevin Spacey impression? I’ve never seen that! Talk about talent.
I didn't even catch that! It sounded extremely familiar, but now that you've said it's Spacey, I realized it's exactly like him xD Also, his Nicolas Cage is very good, which is also difficult to do.
You should check out Ross Marquand's Spacey impression then.
@@wparihanba You're right, Ross Marquand's impressions are amazing! His Michael Caine's impressive too
Wow can't believe how good he is. Brilliant.
No way is he singing at the end . that is just spot on pauls voice
That Deal or No Deal with coffins is absolutely horrific and hilarious 😂
That John Cleese one was spot on
Stanley, spelled with a 'C'. Seriously, OMG, I had no idea, Pete's incredible, he nails the voices' tones, the persons phrasing, articulation, all the vocal mannerisms spot on.
His Kevin Spacey, Alan Alda, John Cleese, and Michael Caine are best I've ever seen
The John and Yoko scenes are quite accurate.
Now I understand why he is The Tick, What a talented man Mr Serafinowicz, I am trully flabbergasted...
Leonard Rossiter omg! Lol all spot on.
Context of that joke is that Ralph Fiennes, who played Schindler in Schindler's List does look a bit like Leonard Rossiter
His Jeremy Clarkson is kinda good
Medium praise indeed.
Considering Jeremy Clarkson has a hard voice to impersonate, I think it’s one of the better ones I’ve heard.
He sounded more like Tiff Needel to me
Sounded so much more like tiff needell

And the Top Gear guy forgot his name somehow
This guy is a genius! He is so underrated he sounds exactly like the people he has impersonated amazing! 😂😂 That Beatles sketch was brilliant. Thanks for the upload.
He's pretty hit and miss with his humour, but impression-wise the guy's a genius. And when he's funny, he's really, really funny. Me and my sister still remember, and have in-jokes about, his sketch show to this day.

How is it even possible to do Kevin Spacey that good?!
Absolutely incredible impersonations from a very talented man
I enjoyed whatever personal projects he undertook. Look Around You, his spoof ads and funny little interludes in The Peter Serafinowicz Show, all other mockumentaries made (best of the genre, by the way, no one else this consistently good). Fantastic content!
Love that half intelligible Stallone.
After Ross Marquand, this guy does the best Kevin Spacey impression I've heard
It’s not even like impressions are the only things he can do hilariously well; I’ve loved him ever since I first saw Look Around You
Look around you was AMAZING 😂😂
You know he's a true master because he takes the easy ones like Elvis, Stallone, and Lennon and takes it to a complete other level
