@@marowakcity3727 Ooh! Ooh! I know what's happening with the upgrade menu! There are various points where the game takes away your ability to create a Soul Link-either for a cutscene, or because you're in a dangerous location. When you unlock any upgrade from the ability tree, your game is saved automatically. Ordinarily, this is perfectly fine, since you can only access the menu while standing at a save point anyway. However, there is a glitch that allows us to open the menu without losing control of Ori. By doing this, we can effectively save _anywhere_ we want, even when we're not supposed to. The glitch is aptly known as "Save Anywhere," and can be useful for many things. Most commonly, it's used to skip cutscenes, but can also have other uses; like at 3:43, where it's used to perform a wrong warp.

@@xnyu254 Oh okay, got it. As a developer I can relate the bug. Interesting how the Community came up with this to find and execute. Good Job on your run mate!
While the cutscene plays, you can open the skill menu and upgrade something. That makes the game save. Then you quit and reenter to load. The cutscene plays but you can move. If done quick enough it saves time, because you don't have to wait the cutscene.
The stuff at the end? That's a warp displacement. First you need to glitch the ability menu, with that open you can open the teleport menu, but still walk. Now you suicide and press teleport. Ori will respawn, but the teleport timer is triggered and you can move. If you now manipulate the angle of Ori (done by standing on the floating log) you can literally teleport into the last cutscenes. It has a really low chance that the log get's stuck in the plants, so you can jump on it to manipulate the angle - but it is possible.
no, it's not :( on console the last skip doesn't work, because the logs doesn't save their states. Also, you will need a second jump button and as far as I know this isn't possible on console. But there are indeed other routes you can take, not that fast, but funny to run. Just take a look at the guides section on the ori speedrun-com page
@@tatecomedy if you have the teleportation overlay active, while moving, you will need to jump, for the quick suicide on the plant.
