I walked into Ori thinking it was just a casual side scrolling platformer to kill time.....turned out it was an EPIC MASTERPIECE

My experience also....I only started it to play while installing other titles. Needless to say, those other games didn’t get played until I finished Ori.

I was so f.kin upset when this game didn’t even get the best music score at the game awards. It deserved game of the year in my opinion but at least the musical score and the visuals should have been awarded

Gris is a heavy competitor but still Ori beats it and as a whole Ori is a complete masterpiece

Honestly, how can you just play/sing any Ori soundtrack without tearing up yourself because of how insanely beautiful it is? :) I already fell for Ori and the Blind Forest as soon as I loaded in and the main menu soundtrack started playing. This whole Ori franchise is nothing but a goddamn masterpiece!

Played it with my Daughter who was just 5 years old. Had no idea Maru was about to "die", and for a 5 year old who gets invested into the characters instantly, she started to cry. I promised her that she was just "sleeping" or "hibernating" and that later in the game she'd come back! She said "Show me that part!" so I played it through with her, every day after school, all week. A difficult game for an old guy like me (lol), but we made it and MARU CAME BACK! (Thank GOD!). Great memories of Ori 1, and Ori 2 just last year. Hopefuly they make a third game.

I think it would be ruined as a show or movie. The emotion can only be given through an art form as complex as video games. Throughout the adventures you sprint just see ori and become attached to them. You become them. That’s why I love video games so much. I have never cried from a movie. Only from a video game.

One of the nicest and purest things i've ever heard in my life. The whole game and it's music are a pure masterpiece! I'm 32 years old and i cried like a little baby when playing it, especially at the end. People, this game is a MUST play, you will regret it if you don't try it out.

Listening to this feels like reliving the whole story, especially after completing the game 100%. It feels like it symbolizes the end of the long journey you take in the game and the impact it had on you from beginning to end. This game was truly a masterpiece.

The first time I booted up Ori and the Will of the Wisps, that main menu was hypnotic. I literally couldn’t look away. I stared at the screen listening to the music with tears in my eyes for about 10-15 minutes. There’s no game like Ori. Absolute diamond of a game.
Ori is an audiovisual marvel. Just pure joy playing/seeing/hearing that game. The chase scenes where this theme is incorporated into the music are soooo good!
This game had me in tears, moments of laughter, and so many smiles. words can’t explain how amazing this game was and nothing can compare to how beautiful it is

The first time I booted up Will of the Wisps, I set down my controller and just laid back while the theme played
I didn't play platformers before Will of the Wisps. Not one. Gave it a go at Christmas just gone and it is by FAR my favourite game of all time. The sounds, the atmosphere, the music, the gameplay. It was such a chill game to play with so much depth. The story was so well written and narrated, I felt invested in it. Honestly, this game is so damn good. It just sucks that I played such a beautiful fun platformer as my first game, because others just don't hit the spot! I cannot praise this game franchise enough.
They classify it as a “metroidvania” Metroid and older castlevania set the genre up. It’s action/ adventure where you collect power ups to progress. If you like games like that check out “ghost song” , Metroid dread, Blood stained : ritual of the night, blasphemous, hollow knight. Those are some of my favs

If you have not played the Ori games you probably mist out of one of the best platforming/adventure games of all time. Tight control, brilliant design/art and epic music like this to set it all together. This soundtrack is amazing and should be on all spotify lists.
Ori is such an artistic masterpiece. A very emotional series that invokes sorrow, agony, anger, emptiness, and yet so much hope and joy to outshine them. I got literal chills listening to your performance, and even cried a little. The hopefulness can be heard here.

Das ist so unbeschreiblich gut, das ist geht so unter die Haut. Riesiges Kompliment an so eine Hammerschöne Stimme und natürlich auch der Klavierspieler. Was bringt einem eine so schöne Stimme wenn die Musik nicht passt, aber hier das ist eine Harmony und Einklang beiderseits. Besser geht es nicht!

He played it until the end! we were about to restart it together, it's so beautiful and engaging, but then, on Tuesday 15 February 2022 Simone had a cerebral hemorrhage and immediately went to heaven, his body remained biologically active until Thursday 17 February 2022 and then he passed away , and the heart stopped beating, at his funeral on Saturday 19 February 2022 we sang and played Celtic music and Ori's music, now Simone lives in the blind forest, goodbye Simone, friend and teacher, like Sir Aaron for Lucario (he loved it very much pokemon) and like the gorilla who rescues Ori, goodbye, we will meet again in the blind forest

wie ich beide teile von ori feiere. so gute und emotional geladene games die leicht genug sind um auch für kinder spielbar zu sein aber auch genug schwierigkeiten drin haben um es gestandenen gamern nicht zu leicht zu machen... Und die soundtracks sind allesamt so athmosphärisch dass man davon heulen könnte.
