How long does it take to heat up the tub ? To a reasonable hot tub temperature
@@fzodl89 That depends on the size of the tub, temperature of the water and the heat of the fire. For a setup like the one shown it will normally take about 2 hours
What do you do with the water in the tub? Do you drain it after each time? Add salt and keep it for the winter? How do you drain the tube and will ot freeze and bust?
Have you had any customers wrap this coil around a rocket stove barrel?
Is there a larger option for a 30,000 gallon pool?
How does it circulate without pomp? Enough differential?

Whats your source for water when you are in the woods? Im planning on building a tub for my shack in the woods, its near some water but the water doesnt move. Any suggestions?
You pump it with a gas honda pump. Look them up.
No caulking between fittings on tub?
@@ryobrown-mcclain805 The universal through wall ports come with flexible gaskets and extra gasket matting so you don’t normally need caulking. Some setups (especially corrugated ones) may benefit from extra caulking.
Can this heat up an 8ft x 2ft stock tank pool when temperatures are 40° fahrenheit ?
A round stock tank pool 8ft in diameter and 2 ft deep holds around 750 gallons of water. The stock tank in the video holds 200 gallons and heated up in 2 hours. Your large stock tank would take over 5 hours to reach 104F. If the stock tank is uninsulated and the ambient temperature is too cold you may not reach hot tub temperatures. You could use two coils simultaneously to achieve a faster heating time

We used a 64mm hole saw drill bit. Any size between 64mm and 70mm will work with our coil kit
Can this be used to heat a small above ground pool?
Yes, it works great for that

is there no pump?
No pump needed. The heat from the fire causes the water in the coil to rise so it circulates naturally without a pump. This phenomenon is called thermosyphon.
