Man, Space Jam has always been something I could watch because to me, it’s a fun basketball film with the inclusion of the Looney Tunes. Plus the soundtrack is very good, especially “I Believe I Can Fly” and the “Space Jam” song.
You are a precious gem in the rough of the TH-cam mines and you are NOT stupid! People make mistakes and wrong estimates, especially when they haven't seen something before! You don't need to talk bad about yourself, we don't care if you slip up! You are delightful and don't you forget it!

Apart from _Who Framed Roger Rabbit_ this is the best movie to blend 2D animation and live-action. It's also the best basketball movie and has one of the best 90's soundtracks I've ever heard.
I like to believe Roger Rabbit, Space Jam, LT: Back in Action, and C&D: Rescue Rangers movie are all in the same universe

I’ve always liked the Looney Tunes as a kid (both the original and the new show that was on Cartoon Network back in 2011). While the dialogue may be cheesy upon rewatch, it still has the humor that makes the Looney Tunes funny and just like Roger Rabbit, it handles the blend of live action and animation very well.
Same, Looney Tunes was my JAM as a kid!
I watched it yesterday before the re upload and i saw you posted this ten minutes ago and i was so confused at first !
Anyway i really just wanted to say two things
1) i am not a sports person either but i was a 90s kid and so a lot of this movie is more about nostalgia and the feeling of the time .. including the last few minutes .. i never saw any of this movie as remotely cringe, it's just so wonderful to see these people interact back in the day and remember how big of a deal Michael Jordan was back then and his whole going to baseball but then back to basketball was a big story back then, so it was great that they showed that in the end
2) i watch a lot of different movie reactors but you're my all time fave by far. You seem like suchhhh a sweetheart and i feel like you're the type of person i would be good friends with irl .

3) you say "sorry" so much in videos and every time I'm like nooo you have nothing to say sorry about !! Your reactions are perfect and if you ever have technical difficulties, then so be it ! You're doing your best and that's all that matters !
My best friend from high school, her dad actually worked on Space Jam!!! You can see his name in the beginning credits, Steven Paul Leiva. This movie is part of my childhood so to actually meet someone who worked on it is pretty cool!!!
I highly recommend you to watch Looney Tunes Back in Action. It’s another movie mixing animation and live action and it’s very funny and underrated. Also, Brendan Fraser and Steve Martin are in it.
Probably the movie that had the most potential too, until the studio butchered it and Joe Dante (The Gremlins), who was a huge fan of Looney Tunes, stated that this wasn't the movie he envisioned.

Always loved this film, it made me a fan of basketball! People often slate it for Jordan's acting, but honestly considering he can't even see those he's acting with, I think he does well!
I took my kids to see this in the theater when they were 5 & 6. They loved the movie and the soundtrack. They wanted all the merch and they still love the movie to this day. Michael Jordan retired after his dad was murdered and played baseball. He eventually came back to play basketball until retiring for good.

I really love that this movie has both live action characters and cartoon characters in the Space Jam movie.
This movie has become a cult classic, and it’s so much fun. The second movie is good imo, but doesn’t beat this first one.
There once was a game of basketball; With Looney Tunes and Michael Jordan, so tall; They faced the Monstars, who came from space; And stole the skills of NBA stars with grace.
But Bugs Bunny had a clever trick; He gave the Tunes a drink to make them slick; It was Michael’s Secret Stuff, a magic potion; That filled the Tunes with strength and devotion.
The game was tight, the crowd was loud; The Monstars played dirty, the Tunes were proud; But in the end, they had some fun; And learned to work together as one.
Space Jam is not just a film to see; It’s a cultural icon, a memory; It’s a tale of friendship, of hope, of love; And of how cartoons can fly like a dove.
Fun fact: The actor who plays Stan, Wayne Knight, would later play as Tantor the elephant from the Disney film Tarzan
And he's best known as Newman from Seinfeld!

Every time I hear the song space, jam it’s so nostalgic because it’s the cheerleading song we would play in middle school and dance to for the basketball games 😅

Forever a 1996 classic. Two for the price of one! Basketball fans and Looney Tunes fans… UNITE!!
As spiritual successor of Roger Rabbit and being part of my childhood, I adore this film. Sure Michael Jordan hasn't best acting skills but surprisingly, he fits this movie very well. Being one of the most famous bascketball players all time Kareem Abdul Jabar, Kobe Bryant and LeBron James does help but I am really surprised how they threw not so subtle jabs at Jordan Jordan's first retirement and trying his skill at baseball but also I think Jordan has pretty sense of humor and can take and give back few verbal punches, what I have seen his interviews.
When this movie came out I was in something like 4th grade, and I remember every kid wanted to see it and get the video cassette of this movie, it was considered very cool and a popular choice at parties. The old Looney Tunes aren't really politically correct these days, but the slapstick humor and wild animations are still pretty funny
You just gotta love the idea of the greatest basketball player in history teaming up with the greatest beloved cartoon characters in history. This is one of my top favourite movies by far. I love it! So good to see you again Nick. I just love your reactions, so wholesome and awesome to watch.

Now this movie is literally awesome! I mean seriously the looney tunes calling upon Michael Jordan to help them win against the Monstars. This movie is a classic in my childhood

I remember in elementary school, my friends and I pretended to be certain characters in this movie while playing basketball. My friends, Kenny, Jimmy, and Steve, pretended to be Bugs Bunny, Michael Jordan, and Taz respectively and I pretended to be the Green Monstar. lol. So it was three against one and I won only two games the whole time I was in elementary school. Those were good times.
Quick mention, the Film was Actually Released in 1996.
Don’t feel bad you’re missing something; not everyone is a basketball fan. The five guys that lost their talent are Charles Barkley (the guy praying in the church), Muggsy Bogues (the short guy), Patrick Ewing (guy who hit the popcorn guy), Shawn Bradley (tall white guy) and Larry Johnson. They are all considered top notch legends in the game of basketball. The guy playing golf with Michael and Bill is Larry White, also another famous basketball player. My dad is a huge basketball fan and before his ankles wore out, he used to play and followed the sport closely so I learned a lot. I get that basketball is not for everyone so don’t feel bad that you don’t know lots about it. Thankfully, your followers are here for your movie reactions, not your basketball knowledge lol.
Another great reaction as usual and I really hope you get to watch Secretariat one day; another great athletic movie and a testament to a wonder the world will never see again.

Sorry, I was like sick for like the rest of the weekends so that’s why I haven’t caught up very much as well. That’s also why my throat still hurts, but I’m tough like a cookie. I still think you should take some of my ideas for movies to not just space jam two as well. Well it was supposed to be space jam two that’s what they should’ve called it. Plus. I know that there are a couple other good movies, other than Christopher Robin. Well, the live action one.
PS I heard they are also making a mouse jam movie. I totally want to see that as well. Well, at least see a better teaser trailer. Plus, that would be cool with like Mickey Mouse if they actually do that I don’t even care if that one would come out like next year or something or even two years that would be cool because then they would do more details by like next Christmas then it would be worth it 👍👍👍⛄️🍨🍨🤠🤠🤠🤠🤠🤠🤠🤠🤠👍

Hey Nick did ever see space jam 2 is so funny
A lot of the animators who worked on Roger Rabbit actually worked on Space Jam, since they had pulled off the integration of live-action and 2-D animation so well. They were needed for this film to work. Plus, it's less than a decade after RR, so technology was a bit more advanced.
Also, Bill Murray was the main actor considered for the role of Eddie Valiant in Who Framed Roger Rabbit, but he wasn't there to answer the call. When Bill found out Bob Hoskins got cast and he missed out, he was furious! He would've loved to starred alongside the Looney Tunes. At least he got to do it here.
